A couple weeks ago there was a discussion about bibs. I want to share these with you. I found a 10 pack of bibs on sale at Target for $9.00 (90cents a bib) and I embroidered some of them for an upcoming baby shower. Very inexpensive gift that looks like so much more. Now I have to choose designs for the rest of them. I have a folder of tiny designs from EmbroideryIsFree.

The orange one says "I may be small but I'm the boss" If I do that design again I will not use verigated thread because it is hard to read.

These bibs look wonderful. I bought the same set, too. I washed them before I stitched them, and they shrunk quite a bit, even though I washed them in cold water and and dried them on low. Did this happen to the ones that you bought?

I didn't machine dry them, maybe they will shrink when the new mom throws them in the machine. I better test them. I didn't even think about that.

They do not have a waterproof backing, just a single layer of a terry knit. I used a tearaway stabilizer.

Thank you to all who commented.
I'm sorry, I have no idea how to price embroidered items. I sew for enjoyment and give most of my things away for gifts. With 11 grandkids and 2 soon-to-be greatgrandkids that it not hard to do.
