I have purchased 3 disks containing Disney designs. I am told I can not stitch any one of these designs. Is this true?

It depends on whether or not they are legal copies. If they arrived without a label, or there are a large number of designs on the disc, they probably are not. If you purchased them from a reputable dealer- like a store that sells embroidery machines - then they probably are okay. Still, there are copyright rules that you must abide by. Most Disney designs cannot be used on items that are to be sold. I hope this helped a little. I'm sure others can add to it. Hugs ***

I think you covered it pretty well. If they are in the original package purchased from a dealer I think you are OK. If someone copied them and put them on a disk to sell to you it's not OK. I own some Disney and I can't copy them, it won't allow it.
