I have the same problem. I bought a new babyloc and I can't find the patterns I downloaded either.

I have the 770 too. After a lot of trial and errors, I have decided I like the card a lot better than the USB memory stick. I use JZip (free download) to extract the files. Don't give up just just keep playing with it and it will finally come to you!
You have to unzip them before you copy them to your USB stick for your machine (I have the 780D). There are a variety of free unzip programs on www.cnet.com (all virus scanned - I am using 7Zip from there). When you unzip be sure to copy .pes format to your stick - that is the main thing your machine will recognize (it will do .dst too but .pes is better).
Sungcoast - WELCOME to the CUTE family! I am only assuming that you got your answer to this. I was busy with my husband when you asked this question - if you still need some help - let us know.
Hopefully you can go to where you purchased the machine and they will help you. If you are like me I need someone to walk me through to know what I need and how to use it. Good luck and welcome.
Welcome to Cute!!! Hope you come back again and again!!! Judy
Welcome!!!, i new here too, only three months, and I LOVE it, there is always someone willing to help, I think you got a lot of responses, I am not very good in pc, but check your format, before I got Embird I was using Wilcom so you may want to download this program, it is FREE!!!. Welcome
If you are downloading to your flash drive, you need to open them first.download to your computer hard drive, open in winzip and delete the formats you don't need, just load the one you can use to your machine.
Hello...
Where can't you see them? On your computer screen or on the machine?
For me, if I load a design into my machine that is not the right format OR it's too big for my hoop, my machines won't recognize the file.
If you're not able to see on the files on your desktop, are you unable to see the actual file, or a thumbnail of the embroidery image?
Please give us a little more info and we'll try to get you an answer.
Thanks,
teri
Welcome! I have the same machine...got it in November '09.Before,I had a Brother PE300S. I wanted something that did larger designs and have been getting to know my new machine. I use PED Basic for my designs and it works very well. Also, someone here put me on to a program called "Sewiconz" .It shows a thumbnail image of all the designs in a file that are in the formats you want. For the Brother770 it would be pes and dst. Unfortunately though, the PED Basic program only works with pes designs. I hope this helps some.I am not as computer literate as most on this site and most,I think, have been at this a lot longer than I. I know we will both learn more, as I have already and I have just scratched the serfice. This is just such a great site!

Do you have software to view your designs in? If not, here at My Embroidery Haven, Marie gives links to 2 free software programs that you can view and change formats if necessary. Pulse Micro Ambassador and Wilcom Truesizer. Her page gives instructions as how to use them. Good luck and keep asking questions, we are all glad to help if we know the answer!

Make sure they are in pes format also do you have a card reader and writer?
they are pes format and I put them on usb flash drive and I cant get them open on winzip.
Try insipping them before you put them on the USB stick. Does the 770 use a USB stick?
Welcome Abroad the FIESTA...I see you have a answer already ;D *2U
Are you sure you downloaded the right format?
Or if they go into your machine on a memory card, are they in the right folder? (I made that mistake when I first started)
