This is another doily that I did yesterday. This is from Threads n Scissors, and while this was stitching, I could actually see what appears to be crochet stitches. There are the triple crochets and chains. Well, this took 12 side panels of 8129 stitches each, and the center panel of over 5100 stiches. I made the mistake and rinsed before I stitched this togeter. I won't do that again with these heirloom type doilies. It measure 17" diameter, and even though I messed it up, I like it. This is very light weight compared to some of the doilies that I have done. This is TSB028 from Threads N Scissors. My next one will be better. LOL I used 40 Wt thread in top and bobbin.

Ihave never done one on material, as I like the old look of the crochet.

Oh my Beth, this is lovely - I am so happy for you - that you were able to still put it together - after having rinsed the WSS out - you did a great job - WAY TO GO!

Thank you - I really do like this one, and with the trick of soaking in warm water with hair conditioner it is so much softer. Hugs.
