If she's starting her own home/apartment, something for the kitchen would be nice. (Guest towels for the bath, or kitchen towels.)
Hi Linda,
I have a FSL graduation cap, you can embroider the year on top. It was for free for a while but it's on a reasonable price now.
I hope it works for you :)
Hugs,
Yoriko
Thanks everyone for the great ideas...she has worked "very hard" for her degree and we are very proud of her!
How about a clock?
Or some sachets the link has a heart cushion that you could make with organza and fill with some scented beads. If you have any hanger cover designs you could make some of those too and hang the sachet on it.
A monogrammed purse set of a coin pouch, check book cover, eye/sun glass holder, credit card holder, and tissue holder.
Shoot, if she were graduating from the University of Michigan, I'd say give her an Ohio State item. :-) That would be quite hysterical.
Towels are a good gift, A nice cover for her pc. or laptop, a mouse pad, a picture frame, a nice pillow with some kind of beautiful message and the date of her graduation. Hope I was of some help.
My twin Sons go to Michigan State - they are finishing their second year there ... great school ... Go Green!!! Since your neice will be a "college graduate", I think I would embroider something very classy ... maybe use one of Miss Veronika's embossed initials on some plush towels or something like that! Tell her congrats!!! Laura
I'm doing a beach towel for my niece who is graduating from college, with her name embroidered on the bottom border. I have also done the plushy throws with the name embroidered and they have been received well. A gift they will use for a long time.
