These are stunning Yoriko, I do not think a person will find a pretier tree than these, they remind me a lot of Cherry trees

The trees are gorgeous; I had never imagined them growing in the forrests, but I'm glad you included that photo also. How wonderful, to be surrounded with the blooms. So glad you were able to see them on your trip! We're glad you've returned, however.
They were almost finished when I got there, you can see some leaves already coming out. The next day it rained and most of the petals were gone. When I left Japan the trees were all green.
