I want to embroidery something as a wedding gift. What is considered the proper placement of intials? Do I use wife' 1st then Husband's last then husband's first or what variation of their intials

Thank you for this question, I have 2 weddings of 2 grandsons at the beggining of summer and I wish to embroider for them bathtowels with theirs and their initials.

If you're wanting to use the wife's initial too, the correct method would be to use three. His first name initial, then larger for their last name,then adding her first name initial xXx not exact of course but will give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Hope this helps

Depending on what you are doing how about the bride and grooms first names with the date under.ie

I too, believe it is personal preference. Perhaps we have a CUTE family member - that does it professionally - that can give you more info.

I usually use husband initial, last name initial and then wife initial. But it could go either way. I have asked the bride at times. She would usually go with the husband's initial first. I did look online for the answer and it was just personal preference.
