Thank you all for your suggestions. The last file that I had been working on was a large folder. Mooie's comment albout the large folder got me thinking. I split the folder in half and tried again. It works fine now. I never thought about the size of the folder causing my problem. I didn't have a clue what to try next. Again, thanks to all of you. Joyce

I never had this problem.
Have you had this problem all along or is it a new problem that just recently started? Maybe after you downloaded some new program?
Did you uninstall from add/remove programs, reboot pc, and then reinstall? Sometimes if you don't reboot the system the same bug sticks around.
If you have recently downloaded any new programs I think it is interfering, you may have to do a system restore to an earlier date before you did that download. Feel free to private msg me and I will help as best I can.

Hi Joyce
This has happended to me a couple of times.
Thank fully worked ok after I re-booted
I did notice however that the Ped basic
stalled when I was attempting to open some of my larger folders, resulting in the same problem you had.
Big hugs -
Mooie xx

Hi Joyce.
My name is Joyce too. Can I ask you what version of Windows you are running?

I have XP.

I know that XP has problems running a lot of software.

Were you ever able to get it to run? If not I think it is a problem with XP.

If it ever did run on your computer then move the files from the last folder you were in, to another folder and try running it. Trying to open a bad file or too many files may cause it to crash.
