i love the seashell fonts by yvonne but that is the only format i cant get it in? HELP!!!!!

The short answer is yes. Free digitized designs are provided by Cuties in whatever format they wish to provide. You can download and use free programs to convert designs from one format to another. If you have a Bernina, neither of these will convert to .art and you will have to buy Bernina'a software.
