quilt, too. Then she had some darling paper dolls - that were so elegant - with gowns and business suits - to die for. I would love to dress like that, too. Hehehe! We went through some of my doilies and she purchase some for her and some for a friend - that was a sweet thing to do to help Rick and I out some. We did also have a ball talking about jewelry - I had some pieces that were my Mother's - that more than likely were my Grandmother's - but Terri has an eye for jewelry and she did suggest that I go to a shop and have them appraised - it was a great visit and I do believe that we learned alot about each other - we talked about a variety of things - going on in our lives and had such a good time - but she was traveling through and had to get home - we asked Rick if he could take a picture of the two of us - it was difficult to hold the camera with one hand and also take the picture - but I think he did a pretty good job - what do you think? Isn't this great to have another CUTE family member close enough to stop by during their travels - how far away do you live from us Terri?

Teri, thank you so much - that isn't that far - I used to travel 28 just to go to the sewing center in NC...I am glad that you have someone that moved from CA to TX that is a friend close by for you to piddle around with, too. Yes, we are all blessed to have one and another. Love!
33575I think I live about 40 miles north of you. I do travel that road a bit because my daughter lives in SL, and I work with the student ambassadors that I am taking to OZ. But, I think there will be times that I just travel to Shirlenes, and I'm hoping her and Rick will come north. I have a summer cold so the pic isn't my best. My nose is red and sore.

Terri, you are so kind to share how far you live away - I thought it was further - but then I must have traveled up that way - when I was younger - Hehehe! You might have an excuse for your nose - but what about my face - I am redder than you? Hehehe!

Karma, when I first learned to embroider - I went to a class and had lots of friends - all around where I lived in NC - so on any good or bad day - I might have a friend on the phone or email - sitting next to me - asking or telling me what to do next with the project we might be working on - it has been hard - since I moved to UT to find an embroidery friend - so I am thrilled and tickled pink that it is also a CUTE family member - thank you so much - I will tell Rick what you said, too. It is good to be smiling, as well.
