Welcome to this wonderful family. Don't get frustrated, just celebrate each tiny step that you accomplish. Ask questions one at a time. When you understand how to do a step go on to the next. I am very computer challenged and this is how I have to do it. Hus is a common format to find so don't worry about converting from another format until you are comfortable with downloading and organizing your designs. I'm originally from RI, but now living in North Dakota. Post a question asking if there is anyone living near you in Mass. Again, welcome and here is another flower for your garden.

Welcome to Cute. Many of us were confused about comptuers and embroidery machines/software, when we started. Each day is sometimes a challenge. Don't worry; there are lots of people here who are knowledgeable and eager to help you.
Try to be patient and you'll learn something new each day.

Hi "Jaberwakee" I've got to go out to OP Shop duty with my Mum and will be home after 5.00pm this evening. I see you are from Massachusetts(?) - so when I come back on here it will be Monday evening Eastern Stand time Australia.

I have just had a new computer installed about a month ago and have been onto Husqvarna at Gosford where this superwhiz has told me all about downloading.

I can't download HUS anymore, (but I can download VIP and VP3 easily) as I have windows 7 and for some reason I can't do it the simple way, but there are ways of getting around it. For example I use an archiver called WINRAR and EMBVIEW to open up designs.

I will send you a personal PRIVATE EMAIL tonight.

To open a PM as we call it, it is the tab at the far right hand side above the posts when you are in the community tab. We have PUBLIC - FREEBIES (BETA) PERSONAL AND PRIVATE.

When you see a plus sign on the PM TAB ( + ) that means you have a private email.

I am sure there are more people on here who can help you out too.

Till tonight - love and blessings Chris
