I have many fsl bowl designs but would like a 'side' that is shorter, about 4-5 cm high. Is it possible to 'cut the designs without it falling apart??

Hi Helen, I have made many fsl bowls and played with them, making taller and shorter but you will need a program to do so. To simply cut the sides lower will not work because you will loose the top edge stitching that is the finishing stitches. You can cut off the top edge IF you are ready to sit and work on the pattern, reconnecting all the jump stitches into the original pattern. To simply shorten the height of the pattern will not work either because your pattern will become very DENSE and the back will be a mess. Have you ever digitized?, you might try making your own, not really that hard but takes time and perservierance!

Thank you, no I have never ventured into the digitising world. I am waiting for digitiser MB to arrive. I use sewwhatpro to resize and alter my designs, it has the facility to cut and paste. MAybe I will try that. just wanted shorter sides to the bowls to use on the tables at a wedding for 'wedding favours'
