for my cooler project i ended up making "luggage" type tags, as i was out of time.
The other thing i could not figure out was ow to keep it flat, as the cooler lid was bigger than the largest hoop, so the hoop lifter the edges :(
I have seen the magna hoop. it is expensive, anyone tried it? also i don't think that it works with the Janome (wich i have) is there another option?
hope this can help someone else if they are trying something similiar

Use red work designs on card.. anything else is
most probably to dense :-)
could you hoop tear away and then sticky tape the card to the tear away ??
also depending on how your machines arm moves
when I do costume suit bags I actually find it easier to hoop upside down and also run the design upside down as it sits on my machine better..
Just a thought for you
