Nice seeing you back...slowing down the machine works best for me...*****
That's what I thought at the first moment but then I saw that it is an old post :o(
Agula "commented" in some more posts just with that link and nothing else...

Sorry that page is in polish and I did not understand it. Was there anything about the question with the FSL?
Greetings, Bettina
PS: first moment was thinking that adelmarie was psoting again :o) Did anybody know if she is okay? Busy with her little princess?
No there was ot, but there were a great number of Husqvarna embroidery cards that can be downloaded - that must be illegal!
I checked out agula's other posts and they are all links to that same web site.
I was told at the dealer that to do FSL you should slow your machine down.I have done some designs that take over a hour but that is a lot of minutes to do any thing. What are you doing that takws that long?
Lena Mae
My goodness! What is going to take over 3 hours?
I combined many designs on Embird so that I can stitch them in one hooping from my largest hoop. The biggest design is only about 6.5 inches, is just quite a few FSL items together.
Have you done this many before? I have combined a few, but the sewing time was not so great. Just make sure the stabilizer is super secure, wouldn't want it to loosen part way through.
I slow mine down to 600 stitches per minute. Mine will go up to 1000, but I find that at a slower speed, the sitches look a lot cleaner.
I'm using a Baby Lock Ellisimo and a Brother PR620 6 needle.
Dear Adelmarie, it's so nice to see you here!
My machine doesn't have speed control, and I never had problems stitching out FSLs designs. I really don't know if the speed setting does really matter.
Sorry I can't help you better.
Love,
Yoriko
Yoriko, thanks for your response. You answered my question! My machine does not have speed control either. Hugs! Anne
I always slow it down, but that's no rule. And when it takes 182 minutes I would try the normal speed.
good luck with the FSL projects!
Adelmarie, I sure have missed you - where have you been? As for FSL - I never slow my machine down for it - I think the high speed stitches great - the faster - the better - I have a love of lace you know???? Hope you share a picture of your project - soon. Hugs!!!!!
Thank you Shirlene, coming from the FSL queen herself is more than just tips ;). I have been around every now and then but have been busy between the work, keeping up with the house work, the kids and the new baby. I will make sure to post pictures as soon as I can.
Thank you and take care *
Hi: I've done alot of fsl designs and they are my favorite. I have a Brother PE-150 machine which I cannot slow down, and I do the designs with the speed it has and have had no problems with them. I've heard some machines can be slowed down, but unless you are doing a very dense design and I've done some of those too, then you might slow the machine a bit, but before you do that, I would check with the digitizer that did the design to be sure that is necessary. I've even done some designs with metallic thread and the machine has performed well. So my answer to your question would be NO you don't have to slow down the machine to do fsl designs. your doing a design that is over 3 hours long? what is it. Hope this helps you in your project.
It is not only one design, I combined many different FSL designs into one file that will fit my biggest hoop, I have about 8 designs into one file. *2U and thanks
Adelemarie, first let me tell u what a joy it is to see your avatar. U r missed !! Now I always slow machine to slowest speed to do my FSL. I have done a good bit & find for my machine it does it's best on FSL with the slower speed. Lillian *4U
I have a 300E and always slow my machine especially for big projects
I have made lots and lots of FSL designs for bookmarks and tree ornaments. I have a Designer1 and have never had to slow down my machine. I use the same embroidery thread in the top and in the bobbin and one layer of heavy duty WSS(water soluble stabilizer). Good luck and have fun-you'll love it!
My machine is very persnickity so I slow it down so I do not ruin the project. I would rather have a completed project done in 3 hours than a ruined project done in one.
Thank you, that is what I was thinking too, but wanted to get some input from those of you that might now more about FSL than me. *
I have done a lot of FSL and have never slowed down the machine. I stitch everything at high speed.
