Shirlene, my mom gave away all my Elvis 45's for a sale to help a school yrs ago! If I'd only known then what I know now! I wasn't listening to them then...off at college.

Oh, what a blast from the past!. Just to give you a chuckle, a friend and I had made plans to go to a fabric store today about an hour away. My breathing is better so we went. And what do they have, but several pieces of fabric with Elvis' picture on it. Hmmm, a perfect day listening to that voice while sewing something with his picture on it. Only for those who are obssessed with him. And much as I like his voice, I am not obsessed.

Thanks Shirlene! Other than the music, there are some wonderful pictures of him that date back to a very young age. He was and still is the "King" when it comes to his music and his voice! There will never be another Elvis no matter how many try to copy him! In 99% of his pictures, you can see the sadness in his eyes. It has always looked like he was searching for something if you take a good look into his eyes. He was a troubled soul with the voice of an angel!

My dear shirlener.

What a treat, It made me feel young for a moment lol. some things you never forget and that is the day we heard that Elvis(the king) died just as the day we heard that princess Diane died.
I was such a big fan of him and this song reminded me also of an aunt in Holland who did not like Elvis at all, but this song was oke lol.
Went to a concert in the UK last year from an impersonator and must say it was just FANTASTIC.
Thank you for the link and happy memories
