NOW, I see another picture on your Avaitar - you have some 'plaining to do Linda!
Linda, I have wondered about the avatar - since you loaded it recently - but knew that you would soon tell us, too. I am happy you got to spend some quality time with the family - as you know - you have to let go and let God! I will be praying for you and especially for your son.
Thank you for sharing your joy as it is very uplifting to know of such loving families. God continue to bless your loved ones and you!
In His Name, Sandra
So happy for you Linda that you got to be with your family last weekend. I envy you that at least you can go to church with them. My children don't attend anymore and it breaks my heart. They are all wonderful, loving children and I know there is a seed planted in each of their hearts, but never-the-less!!!
I hope your son wakes up to himself soon. He needs to look after his diet, heart attack survivors must keep themselves fit and healthy. I'll keep him and you in my prayers. Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris! Prayers do work. The Lord hears our needs and he responds. Prayer is just about my only source of peace at this time. My son is on a serious coarse at this time and I have been begging his wife to help me to help him. She seems to be able to get through to him a bit better than I can right now.
I am sure with time your children will return to their training. In the meantime you do their praying for them. The Lord will hear and will move to His miracles only whe He is sure the kids are ready. Have Faith! You raised a very wonderful family and it shows in all that you do! My son only joined the church on his birthday 12/16/07. It was all his own doing and he has tried to do much better than he was doing before he joined. I think we all have a long way to go. Sometimes neither of us practice what we preach. We both have very dominant personalities and we do say what we think. It gets in the way sometimes. He just can not get over being sooo angry with his situation and never feeling real good or rested anymore. He has alot of stress and hard physical labor on his job. We are hoping that soon he can get back to his 1st love (computers) and find a job where he can make a living doing what he loves to do and it will be alot less physical stress on his body. Jobs are very hard to find and although he has not let all of his site customers go, he can no longer make a living doing just computer programming and building web sites. Before he left home at 37 and in good health, he was doing both jobs but married now and not in good health he just can not handle 2 fulltime jobs. He is not sure that he can make a living just with the computer skills. I am afraid that if he lets the physical job go that he will finish ruining his health with no activity and he has NOT learned to control his diet. He is a junk food addict! NO, he did not even junk food as a child or a young adult. At 2, I could give him a box of cookies or Vanilla Wafers, etc and he would never eat more than 2 if he even ate 2. He did not like junk food. He did not even drink Cokes until he was nearly grown. This junk food thing started after age 37 when he moved out of our house along with several other bad habits. He just does not seem to be able to stop with the junk food!
I am so glad that you had the opportunity to share the day with family. I very much miss watching my great-nephew grow, but it is part of being in the military. Don't be afraid to ask for prayer if needed.
Prayer is very much a daily part of my life. A day stitched in prayed it what holds me together. No Mom could ever watch her son at 42 have a major Heart Attack and get through it without constant prayer. The Lord has been my total source for any sanity for the last few yrs. He got me through my horrible surgery and 8 month stay flat on my back 6 yrs ago and gave me back my son's life 3/09. The Lord is always with me! I lose some faith on occasion but it is soon restored when I have time to think, pray and reason. Thanks! Linda
