life when i was only 8 years of age. As a little girl i thought i was one of few growing up with a step dad. But as i got older i realized just how lucky we where to have him. Our real father was not around alot and our step was always there for us. So i always think of him as a special gift. So happy fathers day to all the step daddies out there. There are alot of happy children and moms because of them.

we are pretty close to each other!

There are a lot of great step-dads around. I thank goodness cause there are a lot of men who walk away! Lots of good step mothers too. You marry someone with kids, you are aware of that when you marry, it carries a responsibility, and a chance at a lot of joy. Glad you had a good one. My step-dad is a major keeper, lucky me, so was my father.

You are very lucky to have had your stepfather. I have 1 Dad, 1 Mom, 1 ex-Stepmother (I don't call her that, it's just a description), and 1 Step Mother. All the moms are great and they all get something on Mother's day.
