Where I work there is a young woman Danielle that has been a client for many years. Everytime we see each other she says "I love Sadie she is my favorite in the whole world." I say to her "I love Danielle she is my favorite client in the whole universe." She always answers " I always am" and I say "and you always will be." This is why there is a heart in her name so she remembers the love, and the universe to always remember she is my favorite.
She has now turned 21 and it is time for her to start the next step in her life. She has completed the young adult assisted living program now it's time for her to start the adult program which is in another county. There is a very big possibility Danielle and I will never see each other again. This breaks my heart, but I am also so happy to know she will be getting closer to someday being on her own God willing. I have never felt this emotionally involved before so it is really tearing me up.

I gave it to her today and sxplained the designs and the meanings, I don't think she can repeat it verbatim but I do know in her heart she will remember.

this is lovely and I love your story I know you will miss her for a long ttime.
When I was working as a aid in the hospital I had a lady that was a patent she was so sweet when she went home she wrote to me for years made crocheter hankies and lasce and sent to me . all of a suddon it all stopped so I know dhe passed away and I will never for get her .
she was a old lady when she was in the hospital. I love her to this day

I had a lady - that was thughtful to me - when I was very young - much younger than Danielle is - she did something thoughtful - that I remember to this day - how much it meant to me and how loving she was to me - on a regular basis and she is still in my heart - as I am sure that Danielle will keep you in hers - as she goes on her steps out into the journey of life.

I do not embrace the blessings that you give.
It is not so "cut and dried" like that.
Danielle is now 21 yrs. old - going on 10 yrs old.
She just made the curve to advance to the adult program.
It breaks my heart thinking I may never see her again, but I know that I also contributed to her advancement, her ultimate goal... Independance.

Our experiences do not compare. I am an older woman... and Danielle is a young lady embarking on her journey to be independant. Danielle has infiltrated my heart. I mean no disrepect.
