I have had this happen to me. The embroidery group that i go did a project quilt,we all bought the same disk off a well known lady. We all had proplems with the designs. The Janome Store contacted this lady over a couple of months and got no result. I contacted this lady and asked for money back. It took six months of emailing before i had a result of a replacement disk digitized by a new company. The dissapointing thing was that it is only a copy that was emailed to me in one format. So i tell every one not to get any of her disks. cheers
I hope this gets straitened out for you! So-o-o-o, heres a BIG WELCOME to CUTE!!! Hugs, Judy
Sorry you're having problems; it's probably just a communications problem. Digitizers would not want a dissatisfied customer.
BTW, welcome to Cute!
I agree that you need to stitch it out several times using different stabilizers and if possible, different machines. If you don't get a good stitch out you have good information to report. Also try phoning them. I've phoned a digitizer and gotten a pleasant voice on the phone who offered help. Who knows who answers e-mails. Good luck
E-mail them again, like anangel says, must digitizers will try to work with you all the way.
The kind of stabilizer used makes quite a difference, also if the design has a lot of stitches slow the speed down of the machine. Remember once you have hooped the fabric and stabilizer do not tug to make it flat. I lay the fabric and the stabilizer and put the inner hoop on top then carry over to the frame itself. Makes a lot of difference in the way the design stitches out. Better use a very good quality fabric for embroidering. The best stabilizer I found is the Simply Stable Mesh, I use on sweatshirts, and sweaters it does not pull the design. Go to www.emblibrary.com for a lesson on hooping. Give it a try.
Mbaby I am sorry to hear this I had a design that I stitched 3 times before I got a good one but it had to be my falt the third time my design was so pretty if you fail to get bobbin in just right it will mess up if the top theread is not just right it will mess up. like the rest tpld you I would give them time to answer don't get mad at them ask what kind of stablesier to use some times they will tell you in the ins.sheet.

I agree with anangel's answer. So sorry you are having these problems...hope and pray it all works out for you.
If you don't have correct stablizer to match the fabric being appliqued or if the item is not hooped well it would spell disaster with any great design..as well as the correct size and type needle.. what type of fabric are you using the design on and what stabilizer..needle?
Mbaby,
Most reputable digitizers make much effort to please a customer, whenever there is legitimate concerns. Give them plenty of time to respond; as with all of us, we have busy lives, with unforseen circumstances that may delay our best of intentions.
Before, I assumed it was a faulty design, I would stitch the same design a second time, and/or if you know
someone who has an embroidery machine, ask them to stitch it to see how it turns out.
Sorry you are having problems with the designs stitching well, and should it be the designs, not your machine acting up, give the digitizer reasonable time to make it all good. If no response, then remember to stay away from this digitizer in the future, and steer other embroiders away, too!
Good luck!
Angel
Be nice as long as you can but if they refuse to do anything to help, you could gently mention that you are a member of Cute, and sew forum, and anymore groups that you can think of and that it would be bad for their business if you find it necessary to let your groups know where you got the bad designs. Let them know that you do not want your friends to have the same problem as you have had and that you will feel the need to let the groups know that they will not back up their products.
Other than that, I do not know if you can get them to do anything if they choose not to. I have never delt with anyone that would not back up their products. I am sorry this happened to you but sometimes a lesson that is paid for is the best kind. You never forget and you do not make the same mistake twice! Most people that do this for a living will back up there designs and products! Hugs, Linda
WOW, I am trusting that everything will work out. This truly is not good business traits. I'm praying that they well come to their senses and deal with this issue as an adult but formost a business owner. Please keep us posted *2U
