while picking up some supplies at my JoAnn fabrics my buddy told me she was being transferred to Tennessee to work in the brand new JoAnn's that is being built in Sevierville... She says there is only one other JoAnn fabric store in that state...It is set to open around August 27th. Hope some of you cuties that live in Tennessee say hi to Belinda if you happen to drop in there...I am going to miss her...

How lucky!!!! I remember going to JoAnn Fabric almost everyday sometime even more than twice a day. My Dh and I retired in this beautiful island, Dominican Republic, and there is no JoAnn fabric or Walmart(rumors that a Walmart is coming to DR) I miss JA Fabric!

Have fun when it opens. I live a long way from large shops so over the years have learnt to make a list for when I have the opportunity to shop for sewing bits

Living in a small town in Okla. has a lot of problems as far as good craft stores go. There used to be a "Hancocks" here but it closed down about a year or so ago. Even the Walmart store closed out it's fabric dept. "Hobby Lobby" is still here, Thank Goodness. Sure wish JoAnn would take pity on us poor country folk!

She's right, there's only one & it's off I-40 in west Knoxville. But Sevierville is about 1 hr. drive from many places in Knoxville (less from south Knoxville). Lots of tourist in that area as that's where Dollywood and many other things are. But they should do well. Will be looking for it to open & ask for your friend!

oh good..tell her Kathy sent you and for her to take good care of you and give you the coupons...she always had coupons for me when I came in..Never had to worry about bringing one from home..she took very good care of me..and she will do it for you too..

Is a Joann's Super Store? I just love them. There are small Joann's in the state of North Dakota, but no Super store in the entire state.

Sevierville is near where my Mother lives. It is near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where Dolly wood, Dolly Parton's amusement park. Your buddy will love it!!!!

I hope so..but I will still miss her...I just might have to go down and check out the new store when it opens...I am not one that like to travel in a car for more than 20 minutes though...
