We have a sewing group club that meet once a month, most have Brother sewing machines but all others are welcome. From this group we have formed a computer club and are all learning our P-E Design Programme. Our last lesson showed how to digitise a 'Puffed' applique flower. We all have great fun and there is lots of laughs .The Lady that teaches us has been a Brother dealer for a very many years,so now we are all her sisters-in-laws becuase she says we are married to her "BROTHER"
See the pic of what I made from our lessons.I used hole sewing and motief stiches around the designs, quilted the blocks first. Then I used a tecnique for the binding to join them. Please note that only Quilting (motief Stitch)around the embroidery was what I digitized.
Maybe you could also start a group like ours!

At your machine, with manual close by & computer on cute. I have never had lesson but would ask a lot of questions from those who had been embroidering a while. Have a daughter in Ky. I could call & ask "how do I do this or that, would ask on cute how come this turned out like that? Experience is your best teacher & we all learn by our mistakes what not to do. Just keep trying *

I have been told several times, that I need to learn how to use my softeware. I need to play with it, use its tutorials and use it, use it, use it. Unfortunately, I am easily frustrated with computers abd give up easily.
