I read an earlier post on embroidering on t-shirts. it suggested 75/11 ball points....ok

but then i go to all brands, i usually buy the Organ 15x 1ST sz 11 needles--as they were recommended for my Janome 300e, and there are all sorts and kinds .... :(

i am havin trouble figuring out what organ needs to order...it is probably straight forward, once i see it LOL!

oh and any ideas where my tension should be?

And if possible, try not to hoop. Stretching the fabric is not a good idea.

You can just use the Regular Flat Shank Organ Needles in the Ball Point.
The number is 15x1BP.
Size 75/11 or 80/12 for T-Shirt.
Here is the link to Allstitch and the Regular needles.
Make sure you choose the Ball point.
Each size is listed with the sharp points first and then the Ball Points. http://www.allstitch.net/departme...

I went to all brands to look for you and they do not carry the ball point for home machines only commercial. You will have to shop elsewhere.
If you do not plan on making many or having really dense designs then the 1st link is probably best. The 3rd link is very nice if you plan on making pretty many tees the Lg eye causes less stress on the fabric. The 2nd link is the most expensive.
When I do tee's I use ball point and a wss topper

I talked to my dealer about this, she said just use the sz 11, but I do recommend putting the water soluble on top of it. I do t-shirts all the time and never change my needle(that's one thing I hate doing)good luck
