Beautiful design and work. I love the creamy thread color and fabric you chose. I looked at those designs today from my newsletter. Maybe DH will buy them for me for his Father's Day present. LOL
I've never tried AcePoints FSL designs. Are there many jump stitches?
Hello. Thank you for your compliments. The thread was one I've had for ages, it's called Brother Country. Unfortunately they discontinued it, that is why I could only do the doily the size that I did, because I knew I would run out of thread!Ace Points Designs are fantastic, and in this particular one, there are no jump stitches. WSS in the hoop first, lay the small piece of material for the centre and stitch it down, trim the excess material, put the hoop back on, and continue with the lace, easy peasy!! *4U
Pat this is lovely, well done *4u
Thank you Yvonne, and to think I only did one hexagon because I was bored, and then carried on with them as far as my thread would allow! *4U
Muito lindo! É uma pena não virar uma colcha.
I don't understand your language, but I'm sure whatever you are saying is nice! *4U
beautiful!
Thank you so much. It really was easy to make, I just had to go slow when joining the hexagons, but I got there!! *4U
Very beautiful! Congratulations! Is the center applies??
Pat, this is great work - you did what was right - with the supplies on hand.
Thanks Shirlene.I wasn't going to take a chance, and have it all ruined, because the thread that I used had been discontinued. *4U
Beautiful! I would love to make one like it. Where did you find the design?
Thank you so much. I went to Oregon Patchworks - Ace Points Bargain Store 2 -
there are nine designs, I used the first one. *4U
Really nice work. Where did you get this design? Isn't making these fun? Suzanne
