The weather is far too hot for me (and Meg the border collie) - I don't know how those of you who live in hot countries cope.

BTW The designs are embroidered on hand made paper then glued to a card so I'm on the look out for simple designs with not too many stitches!

I feel the heat also. You think of Christmas and you think cool or cold but the only cold we get here in Alabama is the air inside. It's 90+degrees not counting the heat index.

I wish I could trade you some cool here for some of your hot. But while you are working on Christmas cards, I am embroidering Christmas ornaments. And I am not looking forward to snow and minus freezing temps.

No, that wouldn't change the weather - but it should get you ahead of the game - for Christmas. Have you looked for designs made for cards? I have bought some from Dakota (gonutsgocreative.com), OSED and Emblibrary.com

Sue this sounds interesting. Think I will have a go at emboroidering on paper. Just got back from work and thinking about putting the machine on and sewing.
