my g grand son went through a cutting faise He cut his bed sheet .I couldn't find a matching colors so i emb. a nice size smiley sun to cover it .it looks great.

I am not sure that I would have been able to not have a fit, too. Glad you found a way to save the sheet, but let's just hope you took the scissors away from him for good.

Children seem to go through this. My daughters had those safety children sciccors that normally would barely cut a piece of paper. They managed to cut through my just finished crochet table cloth. They are today 37 years old proofing that I stayed calm enough and they survived. :)

Good idea. I was taught by an instructor that a mistake is only a mistake if you can't think of a way to use it. So, let me guess, scissors are no longer allowed in your granson's hands.
