it through my machine. It seemed to work OK. I still had to sit and watch to make sure it didn't twist. I thank you all for all the suggestions, I am going to try some other ideas that were mentioned. I don't want to send it back because of all the pretty colors I picked out, so I will deal with it. I just have never had to go through so much just to be able to embroider!!!!!!!!! Thank you again, you guys are the best.

nama2, I am glad you found a way to use your Metro thread - I wished I could think of an easier way for you to use your thread. I use a thread stand all the time and have no trouble at all with the Metro threads.

Hi You should contact the dealer. It is possible to get a bad batch of thread. I just went through that thinking it was my serger and it turned out to be the thread. They replaced the thread and now I am sewing away no problems!! At least call to see if there is anyone else with the problem Suzanne

Nama have you tried the metal spool holder that you stand beside your machine & put your thread on? I use the metro thread & I also use that thread holder & have never had any problems with the metro. I have seen this thread holder anywhere between $5.00 & $12.00 dollars depends on where you buy it. I had problems with a lot of different brands of threads doing as you say 'till I purchased it. Paid $8.00 for it & have had no thread problems now for 3 yrs. *

Thank you for keeping us posted. I myself use Metro thread all the time and had no problems. Never needed to adjust any tension. I have to admit that I always run my machine on the lowest speed since I do a lot of FSL.

I read about your problems with Metro thread. I had bought a whole set of the Metro thread because of the wonderful reviews. I was having trouble at first, lots of looping and such. But, I was determined to figure it out. The thread was too beautiful and so economical that I wanted to use it all the time. Well, I decided to buy the Metro bobbins to see if the top thread worked better with the same brand of bobbin thread. Then, I just kept adjusting the tension. I went from a #3 tension all the way to #1 1/2. That made all the difference for me and my 350E Janome machine. It sews without any problems now. I have since tried other brands of bobbins and I can still sew beautifully with the Metro. So, for me at least, the main difficulty had been in adjusting my tension way down. Just keep trying and working with it. I am certain you will find a method that works for you and your machine.

I've just started using my Metro thread and have had NOT ONE PROBLEM! It seems to be very good thread for me. Maybe you got a bad lot or maybe your machine or needle has problems. Hope you get it all worked out so you can use all your pretty thread!

I use Metro thread and have had no problems. I place it on the spool holder vertically.
