I missed this the first time, nice to see it now. The mylar makes the design spectacular!
I have been reluctant to try this, but after seeing this iris (which is my favorite flower and the flower for my great state of TN) I must try it. I bought the mylar fish and butterflies on Designs by Sick when they were $1 each....so I must try them now. So pretty and so pretty even after washing. Congratulations on a job well done.....
I did wash my t shirt with the Mylar and it didn't change a bit. I did wash on 30 degrees and did the ironing at the back of the design with a cloth between the shirt and the iron
Beautiful, indeed! Pity I can't find Mylar here in Portugal!***
Excellent job! It's a lot of fun to spruce up designs with. I've only tried it on fsl so far. If I knew it would look this good I'd have tried it on regular designs! It really looks good!

Thank you for comment, You cannot use this for regular designs but you do need Mylar designs. Thay are more open so the Mylar shines through the stitches. It is a good idea to use it with FSL.
Beautiful work - I love the design and the colours!!! Cheers Claire
Pretty flower....I looking forward to trying Mylar....thanks for sharing.
Very pretty, you can see the Mylar shimmering through
It came out very pretty and the shine is in just the right places
This flower you stitched is lovely. Thanks for sharing your project as well as the design info& God's blessings.:~D
OMG... adorable work.... thank is my pleasure dear carla... bisous for you!!!!!
Thank you so much Aquasanta, it stitched out beautiful and I have learned something new again. Great design that you have made. Besos for you, Carla
Hah! At least you took the Mylar!
So you only have to test if it is washable or not.
The flower looks really nice. In Germany I can't find mylar or any embroidery-folie yet. If I would find I would make butterflies for another pair of slippers which look as shiny as your flower. The difference between the colours on the black fabric ist excellent.
Well done.

Take it from me! It is very washable, and you can even use the iron on it if you want to. I have put tops in the washing machine that have mylar designs on, and they come out as good as new. Wonderful stuff this Mylar!
Carla this is very pretty...It's also my mothers fav. flower...Her garden is loaded with them.
