We had our holiday on Thursday July 1. This is the first year people here have taking a 4 day weekend to celebrate Canada Day. It is so nice to have 4 days for people with young children, to do things like picnics and going to Niagara Falls and Marineland and fireworks everynight. There has been a 2 hour wait at the border bridges to go over to the states for shopping. Rather wait and go through the week, no line-up early in the morning. Regards Lynn.

Lynn, I think it is neat - that you can enjoy all the activities of both of our countries - but please travel safely.
