Is You Tube a wonderful tool? I watch it for several different techniques (learning how to do them different and more efficient. )
Hmm. Helpful video. Guess I always used the instructions that came with the patterns I bought, or what they told us in 4H. Pretty much they would either turn out really well or really poorly and had to be redone. I think it was more a function of the fabric I was trying to put the zipper in, lighter weight fabrics were easier. ANy way you look at it, zippers can be a challenge.
Zippers are one of my weakness and it knows it's not my BFF, LOL ;> A friend of mines, doesn't like to do buttonholes. Another friend doesn't like changing the serger threads. I can imagine the list going on and on. However; I will have to endure unless I make anything without zippers and I can't picture that, LOL ;D *2U
I'm looking forward to seeing the video, but will have to wait until I go to the Library.....having dial-up you can't watch any video....I really only put zippers in a boxy like purse I make but am always looking for new ways....thanks
UR welcome ;> When I put zippers in craft projects, NO PROBLEM. But as soon as I do a clothing garment, oh boy ;D *2U
Can you give a link to this please? Thanks in advance
It's several parts but this is the part that I usually got stuck at. I was sewing it from the wrong side and sometimes I had good results and sometimes I didn't. Now I am guaranteed FIESTA'S ;D *2U

UR welcome...one of my sewing buddies reminded me to check there. She says it helps her all the time ;D
Thank you - I'll have to check that out. I didn't realize they had that type of video on there.
Ewwww--you actually put in zippers? That's way too much like work. :}
Each experience is different...LOL! Yesterday one was one I would like to forget ;D *2U
Yes, there are many ways. I can't remember the way I learned in fashion school ;D
