Deanna, count on me! I'll be glad to make 3 squares, and just tell me how to participate in the expenses!
I would love to help. It will be my first time. I don't digitize, but I can embroider with my machine. Yoriko is so very special and has been so generous to us, I would like for her to "feel the love" from us. There are so many special cuties that I am always up for surprises. Thank you for getting us going on these projects.
Count me in!!! If I can stop my sewing for everything else, why not 3 squares? Hahaha!!! This is so exciting!
Dear Deanna, I love surprises... You can count on me for the 3 blocks. I believe the size is 4"x4", as the other times?
You must say to us what is the theme for each, and the colours??? explain also how it is possible to participate to the expenses???
Hugs
Claude
Sure, I'd be happy to do some squares, especially if we have some time to do them. Let us know color and themes. You sure are taking on a big project! Thanks!
I would love to help out with this too. I only have 4X4 sewing field so let me know if this is ok. Where can we see the instructions? Thank you for doing these projects again!
If guided what to do, I will be happy to join you and you can count me in.
A First Time for me, but I'd love to get involved! Count me in for 3, too.
Blessings,
Diane
Absolutely count me in for 3!!! And, the suspense sounds like fun!!!
I have not helped on any project but I would like to help. How can I help? Just embroider 3 squares? How big of squares do you need?
Yes Deanna, count me in for all three ,just let us know the colors and theme . Your are one special lady . Three at the same time . Nancy
You are such a tease!!! But of course count me in as always Hugs Lisa
Definitly yes. I think for Yoriko the theme of cherry blossoms and Japanese designs is a good idea. Let us know what you want done. I also think that all of us should make a donation for the quilt material, batting, etc. Hugs, Mary
I'd love to help out, but will have a house full of company until after July 17th. Would that be too late? ***
I would love to be involved, but can you give us a time framework for the project. As I am off to Japan for 4 weeks from 15th July till mid August I will find it difficult to complete much between now and then. I wouldnt want to make a commitment and then be unable to fullfill my promise like the last one. Regards
Ruth
I can make as many as you need ~ I LOVE the idea of the birds with the floral borders! ~ Sandy*
I am happy to do more than one square. I like mysteries.
sure do, of coarse!! and i agree with Meganne about ideas for Yoriko. and besides themes that express our love will do also i suppose. (love themes I mean like hearts and roses)
This sounds like fun. As long as I have all the details, will be happy to join in. God bless. Glynnis
Count me in. Just have to know colors and theme and how many you want. 2 or 3 sounds great to me. Mildred
OH this sounds like fun, I too love surprises, especially doing them for other people.
Count me in for sure.
To get ideas for the one for Yoriko, I think you only need to look at her designs on her website to get an idea of things she likes. I would think Geisha's and Sakura blossoms would play an important part in her life as she is very proud of being Japanese.
But she seems to be equally proud to be a new Aussie so perhaps some bottle brush flowers, wattle, Waratahs, Kookaburras, Rosellas would not be amiss interspersed amongst a Traditional Japanese theme.
Reds and golds are lucky colours for Chinese, I'm not sure if this is true of Japanese, but then, their flag is the Red Sun so perhaps it is.
I hope these suggestions are helpful.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
I agree with perhaps an australian theme with a mix of Japanese. Flowers, birds, animals, platypus, koala etc.
Yes , just let me know what to do in detail as I am not the quilter!! Don't' use big words on me!!
Yes I am happy to do 2 squares. Just let me know colour and theme You just rock
Dear Deanna,
I know Yoriko loves Australian native birds. Maybe we could also incorporate some beautiful cherry blossom that grow so beautifully in Japan.
Love and blessing Chris
Chris...how about just colorful birds and the borders I can incorporate the cherry or sakura blossoms...
First to Chris, talk about thinking alike!!!!! LOL!!!! I hadn't read your post before I wrote mine.
Deanna, I think we will have a hard time finding enough embroidery designs of Australian birds to make up a quilt. There just aren't that many of them available. Sorry to put a damper on this idea.
HNR, Meg
Let us know the theme and colors???? I would be glad to do this.
I would love to be in it! Just advise themes and colors etc! Sally
I would be happy to submitt squares for more than one quilt - as long as I know the colors and the them.
ABSOLUTELY...Sounds like FUN!!!
Let us know the colors and themes for each...can't wait to get started!
Hugs
