Hello Merle,
Nice to hear from you. which part of Bombay are you ? That means your might have been to Goa or have been from Goa and settled in Bombay. I come to Bonbay to buy threads. Where did you buy your Brother Innvois 4000. I think the dealers in India are only selling and no customer service. I have not received my optional accessories yet. What do you do with your machine. How much do your charge for the embroidery done. What it rate per thousand stitches. I do embroidery on table cloths, bedsheets, vestments T-shirts, made alot christmas doilies.
I am Mrs. Bernadette Elizabeth de Souza. Married with two boys. husband is an Engineer, having s small business. My email is lisbern2goa@gmail.com Bye Bernadette

I gather you have the MC 11000. Look in the manual on page 106. The top of the page it says STITCH CHART and right underneath that it says Ordinary Sewing. Then on the left half of the page it shows you your different type of stitches. The decorative stitches are just that. You can use any of these to make borders or pick more than one stitch to make up a design - all in ordinary sewing without going to the embroidery part. I had a lot of these same designs on my Janome Memory 7. The MC11000 just has more.
If you are needing further info just ask - I'll try to help. I've not had my MC11000 very long so am still learning about it and all it can do.

The Janome site is more difficult to navigate than the Brother site (I have a Brother) however from what I can figure, the MC1000 is a sewing, quilting AND embroidery machine....so those "52 decorative stitches" you ask about - Im assuming they're for use when you're sewing or quilting, and you can embroider/embelish while not actually using an embroidery hoop.

Not sure how that works with a Janome, but to use those stitches with my Brother machine I need to detach the embroidery bed so I can use it as a regular sewing machine.

Hope I'm on the right track here, and that this helps :)

thank you. I meant 52 decorative stitched used for embroidery. I mean to say after doing the embroidery we need to detach and use the sewing side to use these 52 stitches. Bernadette de Souza

your decorative stitches are just that and can be used in many ways if you quiolt then you can use them to put the finishing touch to them and to add another dimension to a plain fabric, How about e3dgeing a tble cloth or even the hem of a plain skirt would look good, you also have the ability to put more than one design together with another and sew them out in a repetative border. try creating a new strap with a neat design down the center of it or a wide belt that had one of the leaf patterns wandering around it as if it was growing, serviettes can also be give that personal touch with the same edgeing as the table cloth, with this machine you are restricted simply by your own imagination, sit and play and read the instructions to get the very best from your machine.
i hope this will help you

Not sure what you are asking? Do you want to know if the 52 stitches that come with the machine can be incorported into an embroidery design? I'm sorry I don't understand, please ask in a different way.

No, I was just trying to help you out with your question. The 52 decorative stitches are used to finish off or do borders. They are separate from the embroidery function.
