Whenever you ask her toe snile this is what she does. When you ask her to talk to you she gives soft barks. She is a ery loveable pet.

What a sweetie! Lots I know via greyhounds (pet ones) also have JRs as well. What a contrast! Both breeds very fast, just a big difference in the leg length!

The difference between the foxie and JR is probably that the latter is even more like a human but obviously we spoil both breeds rotten, don't we? Just love their ways and therefore can not resist to spoil a bit.

They are all so loveable. Funny how our pets are also our children. When I speak to mine I would refer to them as my kids.

What a funny pose. I bet she is a ham.

eleen by eleen 12 Jul 2010

I am not sure what a ham is. In South Africa the farmers used to wear shoes of leather called "Bush shoes" - Veldskoene. We abreviated it to Vellies and she reminded me of a song a well known singer used to sing about these shoes so whe called her Vellies. She is a little foxterrier and has a maltese poodle also female as friend which is called Amy. They love each other except when it comes to attention. Vellies would always sit on my husbands lap when he "braai" (barbeque) on a Sunday afternoon. And she would love the attention and would smile and talk and play around but is very behaved as soon as the food is served she would disappear. But believe me if she wants food and you are not fast enough she will grab you by the arm an pull you to her bowl.
