How many read Wal*Mart's ad in Sunday's paper? For $7.00 a 3 pc. set, you can buy Microfiber sheets in bright colors/or striped. Flat sheets make great backings for quilts.

I thought I read somewhere not to use sheets for quilt backings???? I used flannel ones for some jean quilts I did.

I got a set of microfiber sheets at the home show here in Knoxville. I'm not totally sold on them. Sorta slicky. But some may like them.

I went there night and did see them...I was just ok with hem...I didn't like the texture as much...However, the blankies are GREAT....They are having a terrific sale on just about everything you need for college kiddos, or your other young ones.....deanna

I once got flannel sheet sets on sale at Target & just used the last one for quilt backing. Remember when you could buy sheets separately & we used them for decorating? I made curtains & covers, even a bathrobe out of them. Lots of fabric there

they go really fast tho because, even tho college doesn't start back up for another month-people snap um up for the dorms and at that price-it's a steal.

Or use it for curtains or anything for that matter. It is cheap fabric.
