This is a very pretty blanket. I love the border idea, I must try this on the next baby blanket I make for the new grand baby due in January. I know you embridered the flowers and butterflies on the border, did you purchase the satin border as it is with the polka dot edging already on it or did you add that edging to the satin?
It does look so soft, like you just want to cuddle under it. I am sure she will love it
Very pretty. I like the idea of the satin border to keep it soft.
Very pretty blanket!!! I haven't heard of that website either, I'll have to check it out.
Your gd will love the blanket mine also like soft things. Haven't heard of tucker's treasure before
Maria, you did a wonderful job on the blanket. Gee, it is so pretty and I love the colors.I'm sure your GD will love it for ever. Judy
Maria,
This blanket is beautiful! I'm sure that your GD will love it. Great work!
How pretty!. Did you make the blanket or buy it and then added your embroidery? Love the satin border. I've not used satin yet. Was it difficult?
Got the fleece on sale at Joan's, about 3.00 a yard, had a coupon, plus they were having a discount for "old ladies" that day.The border is very easy to do, I used very small designs to attach the border to the fleece, I like to do borders to keep the blanket softer. Will have to do some more of this, one for each grandchild. Thanks for your comment****
