Well, I hope you had fun. Hubby and I have been watching the House Hunters in Australia on HGTV some the past couple weeks. I was flabbergasted at the cost of the houses. He would have to go back to work if we moved down there. But - there were sure some places that I would loved to have owned. LOL
OH WOW! Who would believe I could find the house of my dreams the first time I go out looking?
I fell in love with one beautiful home and would truly love to buy it but I don't think there is any way we could have our finances in order in time to buy it. It is so gorgeous it will be snapped up really quickly. 5 bedrooms, walk in robe and ensuite to master, dream kitchen n family room, formal lounge and dining room, wonderful rumpus (my sewing room) with lots of large windows overlooking the inground pool, 2 car garage, separate carport to convert to a workshop for Ray.
Gas cooking, ducted air-conditioning, gorgeous wood fireplace in lounge-room, as well as gas heaters throughout, lovely gardens with lots of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
I've been so despondent since I saw it because I know we couldn't possibly organise funds quickly enough and the buyers are anxious to sell as they are building elsewhere.
OH well, it gives me something to dream about. LOL!!!
hugs n roses, Meganne
wow that sounds great, and who knows, perhaps you are fast enough and this house is only waiting for you :o)
saludos and good luck !

It is an adventure, one can enjoy, sometimes it is interesting to see how other people arrange things and all the little nooks and storage spaces people have. Have fun you may get some ideas on how to save space and also decorating. Have a blessed day. Come to Weaver Al. there are lots of houses new ones for sale in my neighborhood. Have fun and enjoy your day. Sara
Oh Meganne, so we are on the same: I m on househunt too and look everyday via internet and local posts to find something larger for us ! But there is always a big difference in price for a little bit more space, isnĀ“t it ?
I wish you a lot of fun and keep my fingers cross that you perhaps find a cheap nice and larger place to be :o)
good luck !!
saludos

Hey Meg, I didn't realize this was your post....different avatar. Anyway 15hrs laters how did it go?
Hope you had lots of fun and got a good result, or at least some ideas of what is out there.
Love Kerry
Enjoy. You can get lots of good ideas for decorating while you look.
So will you be staying in the Sydney area? What will you do with your home? It is always fun to look, and dream. Hope you find something.
Have fun my sweet friend I will pray you will find something you like with a great big sewing room in it got to have that .sure wish I had one I told my husband I would love to get a trailor and turn it into a sewing retreat.

Have fun! Wish we could sell our place and buy something all on one floor including laundry. Bad knees and cancer problems make it tough. Consider stairs when you shop!
Ah, think of the adventure! Have always loved house hunting.
Have fun and enjoy the day!
Lots of luck on your house hunting. Have fun and get alot of ideas if you're not able to get the house. Have fun. Arlene
Dear Meg,
I hope you have fun - love looking at homes. We've had a few in our married life. I do so hope that you will still be moving to the Central Coast.
Have a great day. Love and blessings Chris
I have never done that - we built a home in NC - but we never really went looking through homes for sale - before. We saw some models - decided which floor plan we liked. I doubt we will ever have another home - more than likely just apartments. Without an income - you are very limits with the space that you can live in. Have fun and dream for us, too.
Have fun. No matter what you decide, home is where your 'stuff' is. We move every 2-3 years with the military and have learned that we can live almost anywhere as long as we have our 'stuf'
Meganne, Just have fun with it. I love going and looking at homes... 'course I would come home and be down in the dumps a little, but it would just motivate me to re-arrange furniture. hehehe...
We love house hunting too Meganne, always did. So I know what you mean. Happy Hunting tomorrow.
I love looking at homes also, but always come back thanking the Lord for our place and knowing we are very happy here. The cost of a new house is unreal, and usually has less space than the one we have and cost much more than we paid for ours 10 yrs. ago. Everytime we go on vacation, we look at the open houses and dream a little, than back to reality. Enjoy your day. Judy
HOW EXCITING...I love to look at homes....Just to imagine if they were mine and to get a glimpse at others lifestyles...What made you decide on that...
