Good things happen to those who love the Lord Maria. I am so happy for you. I think this is so wonderful that you were able to get back what was yours. It had to be the hand of the lord. *
Some things can not be replaced even if you have all the money in the world to spend on it. This doll house would never been replaced in your mind or your heart because what made it special in the first place was it's history and the fact that it meant something to you personally. I am so happy that you found it and that the man who ended up with it was a kind person that really understood that it belonged to you in the first place. It is rare to find a kind soul like that now that hard times have fallen on so many people. There are so many people that find it hard to even pay their bills now that the economy is so bad for most people. I think the Lord was looking down on your the day you found your lost treasured doll house! Thank the Lord that he was a good and caring person and decided to give you back your treasured house!
Maria, that is fantastic news. Will you share a picture of the dolls house for us - Hugs Yvonne
I am happy for you BUT most immportantly I love that you have thanked Jesus for returning it to you.
I loved this story. It made me smile. I'm glad the dollhouse finally found its way home.
Thanks for sharing this positive note. There are good people everywhere in the world, we just have to be looking for them.
Ohh what a wonderful story. I am glad that there are still people out there that care like the vendor that had your dollhouse.
WOW! That is awesome... I think we need pics to see this beautiful doll house. You just don't find people like that man any more do you? What an answer to prayer. God DOES look out for His own, even in the small stuff. ;) What an incredible story!
It is not a beautiful doll house, it was home made, by a man that was born in 1890, but id has his lifestory in a book he handwrote, well a photocopy.I lost lost of the furniture, but I know that that was my son in law, missing kitchen, dining and living room, oh and all of the bathroom, still have lots of the bedroom stuff, and even the sewing machines.Hugs.
What a happy ending story. I lost many things that I will never get back when I left my Mom's house so I think I can understand the feeling.
All my life has been of loosing thing, first when moving to Mexico from Cuba, then from Mexico to Texas, when got divorce, when moving out other places, maybe God wants to start giving me some of my things back, lately I been feeling like Job, so I think He will listen to my prayers. In fact all I want is my grandchildren back.
I try to keep things in perspective too. I have a friend that lost everything in the Oakland Hills fire. What I have lost is nothing compared to that.
Oh wow that is fantastic, I know how you feel. Mum and Dad gave my sister and I dolls when we were about 5 and 7. When I got older I gave mine to my older sisters first girl. Years later they were going to pass the doll on or out. So yes I got her back she is about 18 inches tall. A little worse for ware but one day I will dress her the same, in mauve colours. Sister had hers in lemon. I have even bought the same fabric..
Great story, can we get a picture of your doll house one day...
I will have to redo lots of things and there is some furniture missing, but as soon as is ready I will post lots of pictures.Yes...you need to work on those doll dresses.Hugs.****
