The quilt idea is great!

VERRRRY CUTE! I just had to have it! I can see it now on the border of a child's quilt. WOW! I've got to get busy or I'll never get all those Christmas presents done on time! LOL
It would be a sweet and welcome gift for any teacher. But it doesn't make me want to come out of retirement and go back into the classroom.
Yes, it's a beauty, Shirlene. I was thinking along the lines of a child's name along the lower half of a library bag so that the letters were near the centre. Then I thought it would be fun to use on a pencil bag.
It would make a great quilt, too, but there's a limit to the uses quilts can offer, or how many you can have around the place.
We surely are lucky people to have such a plethora of wonderful designs to use in our creations.
I've just bought the new alphabet together with a couple of spare letters I needed to complete other alphabets.
AlmaG.
Alma, I do hope you share in projects what you have created with those new designs. I have so many alphabets - one would never think that another would be needed - but you just never know do you - when you might need a letter here or there on something - to make it look better. Hehehe!
The new alpha. is so cute....I love the idea of a quilt....If anyone makes one please post pictures.
Oh yes, please post pictures in projects for all of us to get inspirations from. Thanks Kali!
I agree! I guess I need to get it for my DIL before she starts back to teaching kindergarten. Maybe make a ACB book? What you think?
That was supposed to say ABC book. My fingers get ahead of my brain. Course that isn't saying much. hehehhe
Yes, the NEW Alphabet is really adorable. Wouldn't it be cute stitched out and placed on the wall of a classroom?
I made a small quilted wall hanging for my DIL and the Fire Marshall made her take it down. Who would have thought with all the paper that is in the classroom and clothes and rugs, etc... they would panic over a small quilt?
Oh my goodness! You just never know what is allowed now a days. Sometimes I wonder how we ever made it this far in life, don't you? LOL
That was what I was thinking - to help a young one learn - some way or other - perhaps along a border.
That's what I told my son. How did we survive all those years in school? hehehe
yes shirlene it is a cute set .would make a wonderful little quilt.
Lenamae
You are right Shirlene. They would be a wonderful teacher gift or quilt. H&*
