My nearly 31 year old daughter is engaged!!! We are so happy! He is a really great guy and will be an asset to our family!

Many "kids" are getting married later these days. Our youngest son is 34 and he is getting married August 20. He finally found one that is a keeper he said.

Whoo, hooo! Congratulations! That is such wonderful news. I know that you'll have fun making a gown and a veil, and the million other things that your daughter needs. Oh, and of course you could make a dress for yourself too. And....
Really, do relax and enjoy this lovely news. Then get organized and make what you need to make well in advance, so you'll be able to relax and enjoy the day!

Thank you! They are planning to be married in about a year, so I guess at that point she will be nearly 32!

Don't give up hope on your son. Many people have been telling me about their older children getting married. I still have a 36 year old single nephew!

Thank you so much. It'll be about a year before the wedding. But then I'm hoping they give us grandchildren! I have a grandson by my son and his wife, and he is such a joy!
