That's so funny....I think we all have done this with something we've misplaced....I find it amazing how many times I will look in the same places I've already looked.....I wouldn't mind the getting older if it wasn't for the wrinkles.
I have my tiny curved scissors attached to my sewing machine cord via a lanyard. Same with the cleaning bristle brush -I think I now need to add one for the curved tweezers that I'm missing right now :)
Nice we're not alone!
DONE THAT BEEN THERE WHERING THE TEA SHIRT..FEEL YOUR STUPIDITEY,, HAHAH HEHEEHHE LOL LOVE LUCY
Great to see this sort of thing happening - I do it all the time! I usually also find them when I've purchased a new item - never mind it's always good to have 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6!!!!!! extra items that we thought we'd misplaced.
Ask me how I know! hahahahaha!
Love being part of this "mad" community!
Love and blessings Chris
Getting old is not for the faint of heart!!! This story reminds me of the lady I work for. She used to misplace a customers notes and would use that as an excuse to clean up the shop!!
Karen, you are so funny - that is hilarious.
Love this picture - Shirlene - look at her boobs!
I know how frustrating finding things are these days - could it be that we are just a bit more tidier than we used to be! or maybe just more forgetful with "oldtimer's disease!!! ha ha he he!
Love and blessings Chris
Aren't you glad to know that you're not the only one who has done that! LOL My cats and dogs gang up on me, cats knock things off my sewing table and the dogs take them outside and chew them up! I always check there first whenever something is missing!
That's really funny!! LOL Can't tell you how many times I get things done that way.
Forgot to mention, I had, notice I said HAD, a loose key on my laptop, that kept falling off.
I spent days crawling around, on hands and knees, searching for that blasted little piece of plastic. I found it when I decided to vacuum the lounge-room, and of course anything that rattles up the vacuum tube requires instant investigation, and there it was, chewed up almost beyond recognition, and definitely beyond ever using again.
Can't drop anything on the floor here without it being pounced on by..........
you guessed it.......
THAT BLOODY DOG!!!!! hahahahahahaha!!!!
HNR, Meganne
Welcome to the club!!! I lost mine and was so upset, got on the internet and order three spool caps, my sister came over and we were talking about it, then look at the machine and I just had pushed it back...it was there all the time, so now I have some extra ones...but I did feel so stupid!!!!!
So, did you apologize to your cats after all this? We must be related, I do these sorts of things all the time. Usually I blame it all on being over 50, and having a spacey brain.
No WONDER I feel so at home here!!! I somethings think my DH hides things so I'll do some cleaning! But probably not as he'd forget where he put them too!
ROFLMBO!!!! I can soooooooo relate!
Hugs n roses, Meganne
tsk tsk tsk, is this a self portrait????? Make the hair black (sorta, mostly gray now) and drop the boobs a few feet and poof it's me!!! ROTFL
hehehe... I call that one of my blond moments, the only trouble with that is I'm not blond anymore. hehehe
ususally by the time i find what i'm looking for, i've forgotten why i needed it anyway.
Been there and done that also. We ladies at church kid and say we need to hang out with people our age, that way we don't notice it so much when we can't remember from one minute to the next. We have one sweet gal the age of 32 that says she likes to hang out with older people. Guess we are good for a laugh. Oh well, everyday we have is another day to laugh and enjoy life. Judy
Had things just like that happen here! My things usually end up falling off the little desk I use and I have bags of tea towels under it so I go through all the bags looking for my little scissors, spool holders, tweezers, you name it. I have never blamed the cats though, my little angels would never mess with my stuff, yeah right! *4U
Debra
hmmm...sounds like a perfectly normal day in my life...... ;)
So nice to be in a group of "been there, done that's" Right LOL hugs x0x0x0x
Been there and done that many times it almost makes you mad at yourself. And you sure hate to tell your family it was right where you put it. I guess we all have a little CRS (Can't remember stuff) as my husband says. Have a good day everybody.
I did that for my favorite seam ripper, searched and searched and figured someone took it, got mad, pouted, gave up and started looking to purchase another and then pop it ws there LOL So don't feel bad you are not alone, just funny how frustrating it is when our favorite things grow legs walk and then find there way home LOL
OH no . I looked for some animal eyes all day finley went and bought some more. I knew I had some .when I got home I put the eyes in a drawer to make sure I would not loose them and guess what thare sat the ones I was looking for. I think we all do some thing silly once in a while like looking for glasses when you already had them on , turning on a light you already had on.heheheehe
What a relief to know I'm not the only one that does goofy things like that.
