I love it when a day that's going down hill changes course and start going up....I always tell my hubby when things are going rough that it can only get better....congrats on the orders may you have many more and enjoy those machines, wow! two machine how cool is that.
Kali, thank you so very much - just hope that the couple I got are not the last - Hehehe! I can't wait to have two working at the same time, too. Hehehe!
glad you were able to sove the problem, happy stitching, two machines wow!!!!!
Marcie, thank you so very much - I did need two today - but one wasn't working. But maybe next weekend. Hehhee!
Shirlene,
It sounds like the day turned out to be pretty good, after all. I'm glad that people are discovering your website. The work that you do is incredible!
My love and prayers are always with you.... Barb
PS. I love your new hair style!!!
Barb, thank you so very much - we appreciate it alot - you are so sweet - to keep us in your prayers - glad you like it. Love!
Shirlene, you handled your problems so well. I hope your machine can be fixed easily. I like the idea of back to back embroidery machines. I can just see you going back and forth - hopefully keeping up with your orders!! God bless you.
Anne, thank you so very much - I might lose some weight - would that be a plus - I hope I get some orders, too. Hehehe!
Good for you Shirlene, it sounds like you handled it all very well! Keep smiling and I hope your wecsite keeps growing. God Bless .
So glad your web site is taking off. Congratulations. I figure that once you get use to using two machines you won't want to go back to just one (especially when those orders really start coming in). Just think how much it would cut down on the time you spend stitching them out.
Carolyn, if only I had the space for both up - I am trying to figure out a way to do that. I am moving things around - as I stitch designs. Hehehe! Thanks!
I am so very happy for you! You have such a positive outlook that it rubs off on everyone else, and that is such a good thing.A friend once told me that no matter how good or how bad things are at the moment...they will change! How true!
No doubt you will need those two machines, your site is terrific! (perhaps you should set your mom's up too. It couldn't hurt!)
Love and hugs, Nadyne
Nadyne, thank you so very much - we appreciate that you like the site. I do hope that I will have to use all the machines - when space & sales allow for it, that would be so much fun. Hehehe!
Shirlene it is so nice you got orders I need to set up a web sitr also I had one but closed it out a couple of years ago.
I can open it again but my son said he has for got how to do it and he was not going to fool with it any more.
I have got to do somethings
I am so happy you had a back up machine I can always go get my friends machine and get things done but I hate to borrow a machine .
Prayer goes a long way doesn't it God is good.
Hugs Lenamae
Lena Mae, you need to do - whatever it takes - trust me on this - when the need arises that you have to have something coming in and you don't - you will figure it out - just do it. Hehehe! I wouldn't call that machine a back up machine - but a machine that was awarded to me - by someone that stole mine years before - but I received it the day that Rick had his stroke and when he came home - I moved it into storage - I was very blessed to have it and have it running now. Borrowing isn't easy - I did that the 1st year or so, after I lost my machine. But you do - what you can do - it is better than not doing anything at all. Love!
So happy to hear that things turned out for you. Good luck with your business. It is a lovely site.
Hi you will love the Ellagante machine. I found it easy to run on my own with no classes. I traded mine up for the Elissimo. If you ever need a question answered about the machine ask me and I will be glad to help you out! You are just going to love it. I also liked the designs it had in it too. Suzanne
Suzanne, I am not new to the Ellegante - this is the 3rd one for me and I wished that I could trade up, to the Elissimo as well. Thanks for the offer.
Shirlene, so good to hear that you had you lucky day and remember nothing hasppens without a reason :0)
Claude, thanks dear - I am just trying to figure out the reason - Hehehe!
Hope you have a better day when the sun comes up again, Shirlene.
AlmaG.
Alma, thanks dear - today is a better day - I am taking the broken one in for fixing and stitching on the brand new one. I always enjoy it when the sun comes up.
Shirlene, I am sooo happy everything worked out well for you. Whew, what a day!! You deserve alot of good, because that is what you give. H&*
Sally, you are such a sweet friend, thank you - I love your blessing angel, too.
I love the way that you:
"give thanks in all circumstances"
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ;)
I think when we have days like that it lets us know that we are still alive, and can use our minds to reason things out. GOod luck with everyting, and I hope today is smoother for you. And it is nice to have 2 machine going, if you are able to do that.
I do feel alive - that is for sure - Hehehe! I do hope - that when I get the one back - that by then - I will have figured out a way to put them both to use - at the same time, too.
Shirlene, I'm so glad things worked out for you. God does work in mysterious ways doesn't he. I hope your business grows and grows.
Reva, thank you dear - I do appreicate it so very much - God does work in mysterious way - that is for sure - I have seen him working in my life in abundance in the last six months.
Shirlene, sounds like you were tested to the uttermost with your machine. Isn't it just like God to give us a back up plan for our projects? My Singer XL1000 has been sewing great for many years and still is, except the needle plate broke and I found out that the machine is obsolete and parts are no longer being made for it. We searched high and low on the internet for that part and everytime we would find one they would tell us they didn't have it any longer. I was so upset because I couldn't sew without it of course. My dear friend was given this same machine by someone that had passed away and she didn't need it, so she gave it to me when she found out of my dilemma. Now I have a back up machine if I need it. Oh, I finally found a used needle plate, but it wasn't cheap. My hubby said we should get it even though I have the backup machine. At any rate, I'm thankful God provides even in simple things. He is so good! Love your site and pray you will do well with it. God bless, Judy ****
Judy, so glad that you have a back up machine and that you also found the plate - you just never know - you might need both of them working at the same time - sometime soon. Thanks for looking at the site and please tell your friends and family about it, too. I appreciate your always positive thoughts and kindness.
that is such an uplifting story shirlener.
Glad for you, amazing how things sometimes slot together.
Hope all will continue to go well for you
Hugs
edith
Edith, thank you so very much. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Whew! Shirlene, what a day you had yesterday! But you know, God does take care of His own and we don't know what that plan is, but if we give Him the glory for ALL things, He will take care of us. He made us to Praise Him. I know that some might not understand that, but I know you do...Even through those lows He had a mountain top waiting for you. And what a view! So glad you have some orders. Love Ya! Terre
Terre, thank you for the cute little bear, but most of all - thank you for always sharing in the process of praising God and knowing when he is working in our lives. Thanks for very much dear one.
Well Shirlene, where can I find your website? I'd love to have a look around.
Debra, thanks for asking and Jerrilyn thanks for coming to my recue. I do hope you do check back, too,
Well, one way to save on time is to run two machines at once! Don't know how you do it, you're always so busy!
Judy, I am not running two machines now - but I will be - when I get the one back from the sewing center - I just know - that I will find the space - someway or the other. Hehehe! Thanks!
Glad everything is turning out okay. You know the old saying," When one door closes another always opens". I hope this is true for you and Rick. Take care. Have a great weekend. Hugs Lynn
Lynn, thank you dear - I do hope that is true for us, as well. You have a great weekend, as well.
Well, that was a tiring day. Always good to have a back up. Hope having a lot of orders doesn't cause you more stress. Perhaps I should have waited a week before I sent one to you. We're just all trying to help and support you. That's really great you had a back up machine.
Joann, thank you for your order - yours and the other one are all I have - but I will get to them and I have yours stitched out - just have to put it togehter - thanks dear for being patient. I guess it was a God thing - to have the other machine available for me, this time. Hehehe!
Even though it took HIM three years for me to win it back through the court system. LOL
Oh my Shirlene, what a time you have had. I am so glad that you have gotten some orders. And that you have got the other machine up and working as well. I'm sure you will get lots of more orders. Your work is stunning. Hugs and love Yvonne
Yvonne, thank you dear and I do hope you are right - I appreciate your thoughts.
Wow!!! what great news for you, I hope this means you will get a lot more orders, usually that is what happens. So glad you had the other machine wish I had a spare. your mothers D1 should still be a good running machine, that is what I have and I love it mine runs like a work horse. And isn't it wonderful when you see your own GC being so happy with the things we make, their smiles are worth more than all the money in the world. So glad for you
Michele, thankyou - my Mother's machine runs just fine - she had hardly ever used it - I am just not comfortable with it, yet - the program for it - is different than I am used to - but it stitches great. My GD is a hoot - she loves embroidery - we haven't done a project for a long while - I bet she asks soon to come and do some. She was so sweet looking at the quilt that the CUTE family made for my Mother, too. She loved it.
I am glad you got some orders and are able to stitch them out on the new machine. I've got a 12 yr old Designer 1 that also uses diskettes and it's still going strong. I love it and so will you once you get the hang of it. The built-in basting stitch is a joy.
Have a great day - ovecome the lows and enjoy the highs!
Oh yes, Martine - it is just getting used to it - my Mother's D1 stitches out great - it isn't old - in usage - she had it in the box for a year and then we stitched togethe on it for two - so I think it is maybe 4 years old, without much use. I love the highs, but the lows are reality.
Dear Shirlene,
Isn't it amazing - God never gives us more than we can handle!!! I am so happy for you that you found that machine you had in storage. Also, once you have got the Husqvarna Designer 1 going (I have it too!) you will wonder why you hadn't put it together earlier. It is so easy!
I keep you and Rick in my nightly prayers as I do for all the Cuties needing prayer - God hears and answers! He surely was smiling down on you.
Lots of love and God bless you both - love Chris
Thank you Chris, I know that the D1 works well - I am just not used to the program - that it needs to transfer the designs to a disk. I bet I use it in the next couple months some more. I do appreciate your outlook on life and your true sincerity towards us all. We appreciate the prayers. God is good.
What a day, dear Shirlene, I hope many high for you
Hugs Claude
Every thing happens for a reason hope ur highs last longer.love tanuja
Glad to hear it all fell into place shirlener,
You are a strong Girl, you can do it************
Wow! what a day! It can only get better, thank goodness for the stored machine! Someone is smiling down on you! Hugs Sally
Yes, Sally - I can't believe - I almost forgot about getting that machine - I recieved it - just hours before Rick's stroke - I had it put out of the way - so that we had room to walk around some - especially with Rick's limited use of his right leg. So if is good if someone is smiling down on me - part of day - I was wondering - what was happening - why was this going on, now!!!! Hehehe!
wELL sHIRLENE..you are right in the way we handle things....would you have taken that machine out of the box any time so..most likely not.....GOD had his hand in it...you needed to take it out and use it....GOD is smiling on you AND ALWAYS TAKES CARE OF HIS CHILDREN IN HIS OWN TIME.....
Deanna, I had actually forget - with all that went on with Rick - that I had been awarded that machine - I put it out of the way - it was such a big box - so I really had put it away - not thinking that I would need it or that I might need it to sell - to get some things or pay some bills - but not ever did I think - that I would use it - but with having a couple orders to get out - I knew - I had to do something - so - I got that box out of storage - how - I do not know - but when I set it up - it ran like a dream. Hehehe! Yes, He does take care of his children in his own time.....
Remember God is always in control. and tomorrow will be a better day.
You are very right about that - I was wondering part of the day - just what it was - that he was helping me learn - but by the end of the day - I was praising him for the whole day. Thanks!
Wow Shirlene you have had a busy 12 hours.Yes you have had some highs & lows in such a short time.Glad to hear it all fell into place. It's so good your site is doing well hope it keeps up.Are you also selling articles already made as well as designs, or is that on another site as I didn't see any pre-made items.I just got new glasses. HEHEHE Love & hugs Debbie Newcastle Australia
Debbie, thank you - I hope it stays in the highs for a bit. A couple orders is doing well - for one day. As for my site - I don't sell any designs what so ever. I only sell items that I have stitched from other's designs. Everything for sale on the site is embroidered and made by me.
All the better, it's made by you.I must of missunderstood sorry.Love & hugs Debbie Newcastle Australia
I hope you have a lot more days of highs.
