I bought some a while back and have not used it yet....I'm so glad the question was asked now I feel confident to use it.....I love learning.
Thanks for responding, kalinelson. There is so much wonderful knowledge floating around this site. Thanks for contributing.
Thank you everyone, who took the time to read and/or respond. Your replies have been very helpful to me. I appreciate all your help. Insul-Bright is very cheap and I was worried I might spend time and effort using it to only then find out it didn't work. I am glad I had the chance to hear from you all first-hand. Auntie
I have some that I ordered online a few months ago but haven't gotten around to using it yet! I'm planning to make potholders out of my stitch-outs for Christmas presents. I have so many people to make things for I'll probably never get it all done! Oh, woe is me! LOL
Thanks for contributing honeychyle. Its only 153 days until Christmas, YIKES! Good luck, here's hoping you finish early!
Auntie, thank you for this question. What I wonder is if one uses Insul-bright do you also need the ironing board fabric? H&*
Thanks for taking the time to contribute, dlmds. No one has mentioned having to use anything else with it, so, I am just going to use it alone.
So glad you Cuties are full of experience and good advice.
Thanks for sharing and for asking, Auntie. It's been added to my list.
*4u!
Thanks for contributing, jacquipaul. Personal experience is so much more reliable than what you can just read about.
YES YES YES it is worth it. I have made pot holders galore and lunch bags with it . It keeps the hot off your hands and the cold in the bags. My opinion don't do it without! Suzanne
Yes, I have used it for water bottle cozies - it sure does help in VERY sunny Arizona, USA.
Yes I have used it as well along with the ironing board fabric for pot holders..The teflon fabric as it is known..It was suggested on Emblibrary for making their ITH potholders and works great too..*4u
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. I apreciate hearing your opinion.
Yes auntie, I use it in my food carriers & in potholders. It helps keep either cold or hot food & keeps you from feeling the heat with a potholder. *
Thanks lbrow, for answering. I appreciate your input. Personal experience is so much better than just what you can read about a product.
Hi Auntie- Yes, it is worth trying. It works, very well. I have used Insul-Bright for both Potholders and Oven Mitts and love the results. Depending on the type of fabric you use for the top layer and lining, it might feel "thin" to you. But that special heat resistant layer in it works great. Hope this helps.
Yes laffma1, it does help. Thanks for your comments. I appreciate that you took the time to help me.
Thanks mnladyus. I appreciate your help. I was hoping to hear from both hot and cold users. Thanks for taking the time.
