Sorry the photo didn't work, but glad that the information about 'locks for love' was revealed. Thanks for posting.
Karma, I don't see your picture - I was so looking forward to it, too. I know that you will find a way to share it with us - it is so wonderful to have a new you, isn't it? Hehehe! I received my certificate of appreciation from Locks of Love last week. I have been donating my hair every couple of years for more years than I can remember, but the first year that they ask for donations - I got my hair cut for them and have been doing it every since. I do hope you get your picture up - for us to see your new style.
I have tried & it wont come up - I even tried to change my prifile picture to see I could use that instead but I am trying & it won't let me ;-(
Don't know if I mentioned this or not, but my son recently cut all his hair off, his pony tail was longer than mine. hehehe... He donated his to Locks of Love. He had beautiful hair. This is a pic of him while growing his hair. It was in the middle of his back when he got it cut. I guess you can tell that he is a soccer player, (was). He now is a professional soccer trainer. He has had two 12 y.o. girls to make the Jr. Olympics. I'm proud of him. We have quite the history.:)
I think he's handsome too. LOL He has a good heart and loves kids. He teaches P.E. at a charter school in CC Tx.
Back in 2004 I had very long hair, I went in for a trim and the beautician told me that if I went shorter than I originally planned that my hair could be donated to Locks of Love, they need at least 10" at the longest layer, for a donation, so I went to 12" all the way up to my shoulders! I felt gorgeous when I left the salon that day, knowing that I contributed to a fantastic cause.
Thank you for the link also, but especially thanks for helping those children.
