My house has a rustic african theme and I have planned to do placemats to go with the bar which is made out of logs and slate. This is the test run. Sorry not properly ironed at the bottom and also needs another stitching line. But I am sure this is what I want in the end. I have bought all the paws on emblibrary through their Christmas specials so far and are planning to use the buffalo, lion Zebra and leopard.

Thanks - I am so pleased with the designs from emblibrary - most of them stitches out forever but the quality is fantastic. I did quite a bit of shopping with all those vouchers.

It must have been fun to watch this one stitch out and appear. Nice work.

In all honesty I think that is exactly the kick I get from embroidery. I am amazed everytime as I watch the machine stitch out and the pattern becomes visible. Mankind are so clever it scares me. But I am grateful to whoever needs to take credit for the electronic embroidery machines - he/she surely made a lot of us smile.

Eleen, this is lovely and each of those designs will add some more african flavor to your home.

Thanks Shirlene. We have a beautiful country and have easy access to stuff not so known in other countries. The woodwork etc is so beautiful and the entrepreneurs doing artwork is not always acknowledged. Over the years I've collected quite a few beautiful pieces. Amongst it I have a warthoghead from my father's farm (one he hunted himself unfortunately the kudu was given to my sister), and a 2m high giraffe, the only one I know wearing a scarf. The cleaner accidently pushed it over and the neck broke off. I made my husband fix it and I now hide the screws with a nice scarf.
