Congratulations to Amy on a beautiful piece of work. What type of sewing machine does she have? I look forward to seeing her next project. I thought about going to Newport on Wed but its 3 hours each way and my friend could not go:( so I decided not to

Well done Amy - I have a daughter Amy too and she also is a great seamstress. Unfortunately, she is the only one in our family!!!! LOL! besides me!
This is an excellent job especially as you are only 12. Keep on sewing, you'll only get better with age!
Love and blessings Chris

Amy can be very proud of herself, it's a lovely bag!
That is AWESOME ! Nothing better than sharing time teaching our younger generation...good work all around !
Impressive achievement, especially for one starting out on the sewing addiction :) I like the way the leftover curtain fabric was used, as well!
Very impressive! How great they can start sewing with something they can use. I remember we started in home ec with a gingham apron and a scarf. That got boring fast. What is the trim around the pockets? It looks glittery?
This is wonderful work - I think we have just seen the future. Keep on stitching sharing your projects!
Very Impressive! It looks like she also has piping as trim...What and excellent job! Love Amy Butler Print! Lots of fun.
we cheated and used already made piping! it was hard putting it on thankyou!!
What a talented young lady. I'm also very impressed with her work. The bag looks great.
Well done Amy you should feel very proud. Hope you share your next project with us.
