Lillian, glad you had a good trip and was able to get some fun goodies. We could have met between Knoxville and Ga. if you came down I-26. It would have brought you through Spartanburg/Greenville, but you could have gone I-40 also. :) Now it will be catch up time. ;)LOL
Glad you had a productive trip, and join Nancy in asking you to put Virginia on your list for your next trip. It's great that you didn't have any traveling difficulties. It's nice to be home, though, isn't it?
If you had gone a little farther east before turning south, you could have me 2 of us here in Virginia. Maybe next time? Glad you had a safe trip. Isn't traveling exhausting?
One of these days I would like to get back up in virginia. Beautiful country! *
Good to see you back and sorry you did not find any Cuties
So glad you had such a wonderful trip . I have been missing you. Good to know you are home in Alabama and safe. * Nancy
Thanks Nancy. Will be in Alabaster Sat. but will be at my daughter's home visiting with her son & his little 6 mo. old Kapri. Since they live in Ga. I do not get to see that little Great Grand daughter much as I would like to.*
So glad you will get to visit with Family on Sat. I'll give a wave toward Alabaster on Sat.Have a Great time Nancy
Happy to see your sweet face back Miss Lill. Next time come a bit farther on I-75 (dip down into GA) and we will meet up. I only live about 2 miles off the interstate as the crow flies.;)
If you had taken 77 through Ohio I could have waved at you as you went by, lol. Canton Ohio, we have all the Pro Football Hall of Fame stuff going on this week. Ribs burnoff, Grand parade, players inducted are here and then the big football game. I don't go to any of it, lol!
Dear Lillian,
Great to see you back on here - glad you had a great trip. America is such a huge place, it's no wonder you didn't get to meet any Cuties.
I would love to one day see the Amish quilters, they do such beautiful work and live such an uncomplicated life. Now wouldn't that be a wonderful thing!
Love and blessings Chris
I love all the Amish work. Their craftmanship is supurb. Furniture is gorgeous & the women's handwork is wonderful. They also have some great places to eat & the food is wonderful. They make a ham & pineapple meatloaf that is out of this world. *
So glad you had a safe trip and so sorry you weren't able to meet any cute members. I hope someday I can do some traveling such as you, but it is harder when you are alone doing it. I shall dream about an adventure of seeing new places and visiting dear friends.
WELL I AM GLAD YOU ARE SAFE AND HOME...WELCOME BACK!!!!!
deanna
Miss Lil, glad you are home - so sorry you didn't come across any of the CUTE family in your travels. Why are you doing all this travel? Just something that you have always wanted to do or what?
It really wasn't my choice Shirlene, Hubby's fmly reunion was in Michigan & that's a long way off. He also has a son & 4 yr old grandson in Detroit so couldn't go up there & not see them. Decided to take the alternate route home to see what else I could see I left out Indiana . Going up we went through there, indiana & Ohio have a large Amish population & I dearly love their food & crafts. such a pleasure to see all their craft work.
OK - I am glad to know - that you had a goal in mind and you were not just traveling around aimlessly - Hehehe! Oh you will have to tell us about the Amish food & crafts more.
