This is gorgeous! I have no solution. Where is this pattern from I love it and you have done a fantastic job.

I have one similar to that & I simply take my finger & push a little on the corner as it sews making sure it joins correctly. Looks as though you have plenty of advice on the stabilizers. *
I only use the plastic type as a topper, for FSL I think the fiborous kind is so much better, but then it is not good as a topper because it is so much heavier and takes more to wash out of my projects.
Now to your problem I have had this same thing happen to some designs and what I did because I really wanted it to work was watch it and when it came to the spot that it was not hitting i'ld nudge my hoop during that stitching hope you can fix your problem.
Use the fibrous type of water soluble stabilizer such as Vilene water soluble, Aqua Magic, H2OGone, Wash Away.
The humidity should not bother the fibrous type of water soluble.
It will not punch out or rip in the areas of a design where there are many stitches or layers of stitches.
Use 2 layers for stitch intensive Free standing Lace Designs.
The Plastic looking water soluble such as Badgemaster or Ultra Soilvy can be affected by humidity. It may stretch while you embroider and may stick to the sewing machine bed. It can punch out in the areas where there are many stitches or layers of stitches.

This is a nice design you've done. When I had trouble with one I'd done the problem seemed to be what size needle is used. Also, I used a fibrous WSS& the lace held together better as the needle pierces frequently on the edges. The speed of your machine may need to be lowered & have you tried doubling the WSS? Hope this helps you.:~D
This came in a set of 6 which I bought from a very well known company. I agree with you about the exposed threads so I'm going to try Shirleen's advice an not pull the WSS too tight. After that, well ..... fingers crossed. Thanks for your comments.
It's a very pretty bookmark design, but when I look at the close-up, I see a lot of poor digitizing areas. My guess is it's not your fault, you have problems. There's a lot of threads exposed where the satin stitching should be covering them.
I hope you didn't pay for this design.
I would maybe try one more time since you've gotten some great tips. After that if it still doesn't stitch properly I would delete the design. Of course if you purchased it, you might contact the digitizer.
Good luck!
It is realy a lovely bookmark. Well done. I also keep my stabilizer in a container, in a cupboard. I also like to store flat sheets folded in brown paper.
You have some good answers, but I have found sometimes a FSL design may need double WSS when they are stitched. Living in Florida is humid at times, and you need to make sure that you keep you stabilizer in air tight bags if you are not using them. When I do WSS where two sheets are needed I do the 2 pieces in opposite directions - if you are using the Vilene type product. Try cleaning your machine bedwith an anti static product and make sure that it is dry. Too, are you doing more than one in a hooping? Sometimes this is not adviseable.
Thanks. I use double thickness every time but not the Vilene type, it's more like a thick plastic bag. I store it in an air tight box and only do one design per hoop. Never thought of cleraning the bed with anti-static though.
Grace, it is lovely - if it is the only thing you have in your hoop - make sure it is in the center - don't over stretch your stablizer, either. If you continue to have the same trouble over and over - perhaps you need to check with the designer. As for the stabilizer - keep it in an air-tight bag or container - I am not sure why it is sticking to your machine - other than - it has to be moist somehow.
I only do one item in each hoop and it's always in the centre, but I might be stretching the WSS a bit too tight. Conflicting advice here, some say drum tight others not so tight. Tomorrow I'll try again, provided it's a dry day of course!
What I meant was - do not over stretch your stabilizer - keep it tight - but don't pull it out of whack.
Sorry-can't help either-I did have some trouble with the WSS/humidity/sticking trouble too-on top of the work-so I actually sat close by and used waxed paper on the foot edge so it does stick and drag. Thank goodness the humidity is going down some here today.
I do however, love you bookmark-very pretty**linda**
Did you make this design??It is very spring looking as here tulips come up in the spring!!It looks great when my designs don't quite touch/sew right i ask my sewing machine man/fixer & he ajusts something & its good then it takes him 2 minutes & he does it well i watch Carolyn
I bought the design from Dainty Stitches. There are lots more bookmarks to choose from and they all stitch out nicely.
Sorry I can't help you with your questions but your project looks great.
