I looked on my bobbin case and it doesn't have a number on it. I'm lucky, if I needed something for my machine I can call my dealer and say Hey Joe, Help.Is it possible to contact the dealer where you purchased the machines? Carol
All the Janome parts are the same for all machines, that's a plus I think. I have an MC8000, 1001 and 11K and they are all the same. Even the cheaper machines use the same feet, bobbins, bobbin cases etc.
Janome 627569405 Replacement Bobbin Case for Memory Craft MC200E, 300E, 9500, 9700, Elna, Sears, & Deco Sewing Embroidery Machines w/o Thread Trimmers= available at allbrands.com-I think it was about $50
I had trouble with the bobbin thread on my MC11000 UNTIL I realised the bobbin is deeper than those of my brother machine. Now ALL my newly purchased Janome bobbins have been marked with a red J. I also keep them in a separate storage box. I've checked my Janome bobbins and there are no marking on them at all (except my red J of course). I live in the UK, maybe the bobbins I can get here are different from elsewhere in the world, but I doubt it.
Hope this helps.
Hey Elizabeth/Bernadette:) Did you go to a Janome website and look for it? I have a Brother so I'm no help. Did it come with a manual/instructions? It might have it in there. Here are a few websites that might help. Blessings. Terre
