Here are the parts to the order - all but one completed - will stitch it out and send it off tomorrow. What do you think?
thanks all - I got lots of projects done - except for the order - that one - I am still working on - I tried doing it on both machine's - but that was too stressful - not enough time in the day to clip that many threads and run between the machines with the thread for the next color change - Hehehe!
You will have to check out the projects - to see what things I accomplished on Saturday and Sunday - besides getting most of the doily stitchted.
great to hear you have them both up and running now, that is going to be my xmas gift to myself this yr LOL a 2nd machine (he just doesn't know it yet). the pics look great the order must have gone good or is this part of it?
Michele, that would be a wonderful Christmas present - my first embroidery machine was. I am still working on the order - it has 7 parts to the bowl and 9 parts to the doily.
Is this doily for an order or is it to put on your love of lace site. It's really pretty and whoever it ends up with will have a treasure.
Bev
sometimes I have even two PC's running to post here, haha. Because one is sometimes a bit slow I work on both at the same time. One laptop and one PC.
but addicted? who me ? ....
Sounds like you're having such fun with your two machines. I'm always telling DH I need more EM to stitch all the designs I've collected. LOL
Your little pig is so sweet and the rose doily is so beautiful!! I love the cross stitch pattern of the rose.
Maryann, thank you - it has been fun - I haven't started today, yet - but I will soon. I hope your talk him into letting you get another machine, soon.
Thank you for your sweet comments on the designs of each of these projects. The cross stitch pattern of the rose is a very lovely design.
Did you get the bowl and doily finished? You do have a good set up. Lets pray for many orders.
No, I didn't get it finished - I have three more sections of the doily to do - but I will zip them out in the morning and stitch them all together - I should have had both machines working on it - but I didn't have thread for both of them - too much work - taking the thread and bobbin back and forth - don't you think? Hehehe! Yes, let us pray!
Do you want me to show you what I accomplished today - with these two machines?
Glad to hear you are multi-tasking so well! I often have my (one) embroidery machine going while sewing something on the standard machine. It does keep on one their toes!
Nancy, thanks - I don't do that much sewing - but if I did - both my machines can sew as well. It sure does keep you on your toes - I think I will quit for the day - I got alot done - don't know if I will post it all here or not - but I might.
Shirlene I know what you are talking about . I have two also and it will keep you busy. But it will surely save a lot of time. * Nancy
Nancy, I don't mind being busy and I love saving time - I just have to organize my things to where both machines are running and not have them both stopping at the same time. Hehehe! Thanks! *
WOW, your machines are beautiful. I have two also, but it's all I can do to keep up with one. Your designs are lovely as you are also. God bless, Judy
Judy, thank you dear - I am glad that I have two now - it took me four years to get the newest one - through the courts - now I have it - I just as well use it - I was going to sell it - I received it the day that Rick had his stroke - so it went into storage to get out of the way - then my machine stalled on me - a week or two ago - so while it was in getting fixed - I had to get some projects done - so out came the new one - straight out of the box. It was running and still is - like a champ.
Sounds like things are falling in place for you. I wish you much success with your business. Maybe you'll need a third machine soon.
Reva, thank you - not sure how much of this stitching will be for my business - but I do hope that it gets a good kickoff. I have the one order and that is all. I am working on a few other things - that I just haven't had time to work on before now. Thanks so much.
OK - I got the 1st section of the doily completed - now five more. Hehehe!
I love those roses, Shirlene, from where are they, Could I put them o, a T-shirt?
Sigrún, thank you - I do appreciate it.
Claude, this set is from Advanced-Embroidery - it is called Rose Tapestry Bowl & Doily #24026 - in the set there is a rose that could be put on a t-shirt - there are alot of jump stitches in this design - you would have to be very careful - when stitching it on a t-shirt or anything else - that you got all the jump cut very close to the work on both top and bottom. That is what is taking me so long with this project, besides the density of the design - this panel took 90 mintues to stitch.
Turtuleowl, thank you very much.
Marietta, thanks - it feels like I have been stitching on this forever - there are 7 parts to the bowl and 9 parts to the doily - these doily pieces are taking over an hour and a half to stitch and that isn't counting the time to cut the jump stitches. I will put it in the projects.
Shirlene, you will have lot to do now.
That´s remind me when I have my two machine´s runnig some years ago, I had to do some order very quickly so I used both, the HUS and the PFAFF, but now I only use the HUS for the embroidery.
Cheers.
Sigrún dear, I do hope I get busy enough to keep them running at full speed. Hehehe! It could be nice. Thanks dear.
Dear Shirlene,
Well, all I can say that he looks as happy as a pig in mud! and of course why shouldn't he be!
Glad to see you got two machines going - I do what Terre says - I have wheels on my chair so I can go from one end of the room to the other - mind you it's not a big room anymore.
Good luck to you with your orders. Love and blessings Chris
Chris, thanks dear - I only have this one order - at this time. But so grateful for it. The way my room is set up - I couldn't slide from one to the other machines - Hehehe! Sounds like fun, however.
LOL Shirlene, just get some casters on your chair and wheel yourself across. hehehehe. Save your energy for more fun things.... Oh wait a minute that is a fun thing. LOL Well then think of how fit you will be between the machines. I can see the headlines now... "Utah woman gets fit embroidering between two machines... hahaha.... All kidding aside. Just let it work for you... You will accomplish a lot more doing this. This has come at the right time with your website starting up also...Christmas is around the corner.... Luv Ya... Terre
You are funny! I do hope it works out for me to be busy all the time. I don't mind getting up and down - walking the distance - it isn't that far. It might be fun to get into shape again.
Hi Shirlene, that's great!
It sounds as if you have a new stage of motivation?
I also have a second machine since one week - it's great!!!!!
I have days I can do many things at the same time and other days I can't do anything in embroidery. So I can combine it very effective.
It's amazing - my husband is like Rick - he don't mention anything about the noise. I think men can more easy adopt noise! I noticed it as our children were born.
I the morning he said many times: This night you didn't need to feed them!
I answered: Yes, but only four times. He did not notice - he wasn't programmed to hear it.
I ignore the TV with sports and he ignore the machine - so what!
Wish you great success and many new ideas to stitch out.
God bless you
Bärbel
Bärbel dear, thank you - it will be a challenge - but I am willing to do the work - to get the bills paid - at this time - if I can get some orders. I am happy our men are alike - I too have days that I can't stitch a bit and other's that I want to go all day and all night - Hehehe!
Shirlene if this is the answer to your problems I wish you the very best of luck
Caroline, not sure about that - but it could help with the problems - Hehehe!
Knew you would love getting them both going at the same time!
Congratulations & I know you are going to make a go of this.Enjoy doing all your work. Hehe . Arlene
I hope you have a print out of each design next to the machine to help you stay focused. I know I would loose it, especially with the TV on and the phone ringing.
Thanks for the idea - however - I really don't need a print out - as you might see in the pictures - my machine has the colors and a little picture of the design - I have the colors sorted and line up the thread - with the order - makes it easy for me - I don't have a TV in my embroidery room and if the phone rings when I can't get to it - it can go to voice mail - Hehehe! Thanks Kay.
Congratulations. Enjoy multi tasking
Caroline, I think this will work out - if I can just get the organization of this down. Thanks dear.
The test stitch out is complete - yippie. Isn't it cute?
It sure is one cute piglet -well done & good to hear you're enjoying life and getting things done as well!
It is a cutie and I am trying to enjoy life - it would be rather difficult to give in to the bad things - rather than enjoying the good things.
this sure is a cutie I am so happy for you I would love two machines but I run the sewing machine and embrois=dery machine both at the same time but I have a chair with wheels on it.
Hugs Lena mae
Lena Mae, that would be ideal - not going to happen in my place - can't afford another chair on wheels and the carpet is a shag - so they just don't work - but I am getting up and down alot - something I need to do - Hehehe!
Sigrún, thanks - it is isn't it?
Congratulations.
I like embroidering and sewing on two machines, but embroidering on two ... I don't see to be doing anything but changing threads or hooping the next one to be embroidered. When it's FSL it's a different matter, one colour and high stitch count, that's not such hard work.
I hope you get many orders from your website and can keep those machines earning their keep!
Marvelous Shirlene, I hope you have a lovely and productive time with the machines running all the time. The running up and down is a plus, just think of some kilos a person could run of without even knowing, LOL.
Lots of hugs and God bless
Marietta
Congratulations! I knew you would do it...just took a little push. ;-) I just love your machines, and the work you do is so lovely I am sure you will have great success.
Hugs, Nadyne
Naydne, thanks - I sure appreciate it - after I set it up for Terri when she came - I knew that I could just move that table over a bit and still get around in the room - so why not run them both - I have an order to get out - so just as well work the machine and have less stress.
Here are the two running or really me running between the two of them.
Marietta, thanks! I would love that you had a second one running, as well.
I am stitching the thrid project and the 1st is still running - something like 1 1/2 hours.
Oh Shirlene! How wonderful!!! I'd be thrilled to have my machine in the same room with the computer, but the computer room is too small to house the machine, too! Unless.... Hmmmm.
Well congratulations and good luck.
I pray for blessings from God for you and Rick.
Love,
Jacqueline
Jacqie, thank you so much dear - we are banking on the GOD thing! Hehehe!
That sound you are having a blast!
Perhaps it is - Hehehe! So far - Rick hasn't said anything about the noise.
See - I knew that you could do it. I have done this for a while, and usually try the FSL on one machine, and something else on the other. My machines are set up so that one is in front of me, and the second to the right. But hubby designed my sewing desk for me so that I could do that. LOL Good luck with this, and hope it works great for you too. Hugs.
Beth, dear - mine isn't set up that way - they are across the room from another - I had to put a little table up - for the second machine. I am getting a work out - maybe just what I need for the time being - Hehehe! Got to run and change a thread. LOVE!
