On this one both sides are the same. The shield is supported by an oak branch on one side and a laurel wreath on the other. The oak branch symbolizes the strength of the nation; and the laurel wreath: honor and glory. These symbols were meant to represent the rights of man: Equality, Liberty and Fraternity.

Yes I am, I was born in Holguin, Oriente. left Cuba 50 years ago I was a child back then. Lived in USA, Michigan first, then New York, last, Miami for 30 years now my DH and I retired in Dominican Republic.
