I have it on my babylock quilting machine but I don't like it all so I don't use it.
I have it on my Babylock . It came with the machine, but I confess I seldom use it. It is just habit to push the button with my finger rather than use my knee.
That would be a great feature, I only had one on the machine I ran at the factory where we made ladies sportswear but we got incentive for the number of items done per day so we needed the speed factor of it. I had never seen a home machine with one, but then, I only have low end machines.
I have the knee lift on my Janome, and will never be without it again. My older pfaff doesn't have the knee lift, and I'm lost with out it. Another thing I would never be without is the "needle down".
It used to be standard after the treadle peddle. Was really excited that my new machine a few decades ago had a foot peddle. I do miss using the knee lever especially when my foot peddle starts moving on me. At least with the knee lever/lift it was always in the same place (attached to the sewing cabinet).
I have never used my knee lifter on any of my machines, if I am not mistaken it is fantastic for quilters but not neccessary for regular sewing or embroidery. I hope this helps
IT HAS been on Bernina machines for years and I totally love the idea. It is a hands to position your project, just a knee action to raise and lower the presser foot.
I am not sure about this. I have a Babylock which has the knee lift. What brand of machine are you asking about? H&*
No special brand but I notice that when I am looking at machines some have this feature and some don't...not sure if price has anything to do with it ;D *2U
